Refuge Skateboard Shop is a cute, comfortable spot with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They offer a nice selection of different shapes and sizes of decks from many brands, with any trucks, wheels, and bearings you would ever need. The shop also has apparel, shoes, and accessories. The service is pleasant and respectful, providing reasonably priced setups and a great experience for both new and returning customers.
The man behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me order the correct trucks for my old board and did a great job putting new grip tape on for me. Did not talk down to me or judge me for not knowing much of what I was talking about. Very pleasant experience.
