I took the 4 Week Introductory Garment class as a way to understand the basics after I impulse bought a sewing machine and realized that trying to learn from online videos/tutorials just wasn't cutting it for me. The instructor, LaTerry, was fantastic - kept the class engaging and she was supportive of everyone's skill levels, style, and goals for what they wanted out of the class. Definitely recommend Sew Modest as they give a great foundational knowledge with everything you need to be successful in the class. I'll for sure sign up for future classes, especially the alterations course!

I took the basic alterations class and the instructor was patient and great. The owner Laterry seemed fun and lively.

I took a beginner class and that was a very good experience for me the teacher was singing dance and talk a lot to us she and also she wanted us to get to know each other and help each other out some they had more experience than I had but overall the class was good you know you learn different things with different people but overall you will really love the teacher and the class and the people thatyou are with on the days that you take

Highly recommend sending your child, children or yourself to Sew Modesty. The instructors are amazing and uplifting and the teaching is unmatched. I am beyond thankful for the smile they have placed on my daughter's face and the skills she has gained.

Great class, AMAZING instruction/teacher, miss laterry naturally makes everyone feel comfortable in class, I had an amazing time everytime and I’m so happy to have came across sewmodest I learned a lot!

If you want to learn how to sew this is the place to do it! LaTerry creates a warm environment that ensures you have the confidence to learn a new skill. It can be really intimidating learning how to sew on a machine but I came out of this class with a new dress and the knowledge of all the basics to make my own garments and I am so excited about it. I highly recommend this class.

This is a great class for beginners. I’ve learned so much in a short period of time and time flies! I was very intimidated to try something new, but LaTerry makes it fun and easy to learn! I would highly recommend it.

This is the most amazing class ever. Mrs. LaTerry is the best teacher I have ever had. She explain things in detail and she takes time out when you need it. She is so talented and know what she is teaching.I have made the most amazing outfits under her directions.Keep up the good work
