“Review for Foreman Mills – Dearborn, Michigan (Visited October 6, 2025)
I’ve been shopping at Foreman Mills in Dearborn for years, and as always, they continue to offer great prices. Although I did notice prices have gone up a bit, their deals are still some of the best around.
This visit felt a little different than usual. The store seemed slightly disorganized — the sales racks weren’t as clearly marked as before, and the $5 items weren’t all on the $5 rack like they used to be. I also noticed they don’t have as many dresses as they once did. I went in hoping to find a few cute ones, but the selection was limited. It seems like they’ve shifted more toward trendier, casual items instead.
I also didn’t see as many baby clothes or shoes as before. Most of the shoes were smaller sizes, like 5s and 6s, and there weren’t many options for toddlers. I used to see more variety, including brands like Tommy Hilfiger for kids, but that selection seems to have disappeared.
On the bright side, they still carry great perfumes and have a solid men’s section. The store itself was clean, and parking was plentiful, even with Walmart and other nearby stores.
The staff was mostly friendly and helpful as usual. The cashiers were wonderful — we always end up chatting about what’s new, and they make the checkout experience enjoyable. There was one young lady stocking shelves who seemed a bit irritated, but maybe I was just in her way. The gentleman at the door is always polite and funny; I always joke with him about locking me in if I forget my receipt.
Overall, Foreman Mills in Dearborn is still a good place to shop for deals, even though the selection and organization have changed a bit. I’ll keep coming back — just hoping they bring back more dresses and children’s items in the future.”
“This shop has a little bit of everything for everyone. It's very welcoming, and I really loved the huge selection of the Wildberry incenses they have in the back.”
“Big Ben's Comic Oasis is by far the best shop in metro Detroit. They are much more than the small comic shops selling new comics and funko pops. They have Vintage comics/magazines, vintage Toys, cards, etc.It's a fun place to just visit and look around because you never know what you will find here. Have been coming here for years since Blast From The Past closed down and went to online only. It's hard to find a comic shop that sells older stuff and drive many miles to get here but it's well worth it. Big Ben and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful. They also have a point system so you can earn store credit which is a amazing customer service that more businesses should have in my opinion. Anyways, if your hear reading reviews go to Big Ben's to see for yourself.”

“I’ve been coming here my whole life. It’s changed a lot since I was a kid, they used to have an awesome candy aisle. Over the years, that aisle has dwindled down to a section. I heard it was due to theft from students in the area. This store has a variety of things, at one point, they used to sell fresh duck eggs. I love this store. They have great customer service.”
“This store is amazing! You can't find an action figure selection like this anywhere else in Metro Detroit. I was very pleased to find a selection of JoyToy figures there. I've never seen them in person and was hesitant to buy them. But after checking them out they're, I've purchased a few! I love going in every month just to see the new items that cycle through.”

I had a great experience at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet! We went in for a quick look and ended up finding tons of clearance items at amazing prices. While we were there, we even ran into an old friend, and my mom was overjoyed to learn that her godmother—who she thought had passed away—was actually doing well. She even got to speak to her on the phone that same day, which made the trip extra special. I also love the Bible selection at Ollie’s; they have a variety of editions at unbeatable prices. Overall, a wonderful visit with great deals and even better memories!”
“I'm a regular here at the store for commander, league and some events. The people here are like another family to me and it's always a good time. New players are welcomed, and everyone is very patient and willing to help. It's not just a store, it's a beautiful little community.”

“This Barnes & Noble is located on the Wayne state university campus. As expected in Midtown the parking is street parking. Upon entering the building there is a separate café that is different from the Starbucks café. There is a lot of Wayne State merch. Office supplies were largely marked up. I came mostly for the Barnes & Noble aspect, I was disappointed in the limited selection of books- only 5 to 6 rows of books that were mostly geared towards young adult and fiction. The Starbucks city area was quite large with many students studying it hanging out. I would consider this location if you're already in the area and need a place to get Coffee or do work, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to check this place out unless you really need to for the bookstore.”

“I had my daughter’s birthday party at the West Bloomfield location, two years ago and it was a hit. I’ve had her attend two camp sessions at the Dearborn location during winter break and she loved both of them. She had plenty of crafts to do and take home, got glitter hairstyles, and make up done. We will always be coming to the Friendship Factory for events!”
