I prefer this store because I get great customer service there, just like the good old days. They've had everything I was looking for so the selection has been good and I was looking for a wide range of stuff. Staff is friendly and helpful. I got what I've needed at a good price. If you check online it'll show if its in stock. I highly recommend.

I just wanted to share a really positive experience I had recently at Byrum Ace Hardware. It's always great having a reliable local hardware store, and the team at Byrum really proves why that's so valuable.
On my latest visit, I was searching for a specific type of light – sometimes finding the exact fixture or bulb you have in mind can be surprisingly tricky amidst all the options. I looked around for a bit myself, but wasn't immediately spotting what I needed.
I asked one of the staff members for help, and they were fantastic! They didn't just wave me towards the lighting aisle; they took the time to listen to what I was looking for, asked a couple of clarifying questions, and then personally walked me over and helped me find the perfect light. It wasn't the easiest one to spot, but they knew their stock and were genuinely committed to helping me locate it.
It's that kind of personal attention and helpfulness that makes shopping at Byrum Ace Hardware such a pleasure. They saved me time and frustration, and I left with exactly what I came for. Big thanks to the helpful team there – highly recommended!

Following the store's recommendation, I ordered a can of paint online - turns out it can't be tinted, even though they never told me that. I tried to return and the store attendants told me "the manager doesn't like giving refunds on online orders because corporate takes too long to refund the store" as if that's the customer's problem. The website clearly said all refunds have to be taken into the store. After I told them I refused to go to another store to return it, the manager agreed to take the return, but I was not given a time frame when I'd get my money back. Basically whenever the order is processed at corporateThe store attendants were pleasant, but all I did was take THEIR recommendations - on what product to order and how to order it.
I come to Ace Hardware even though lowes and menards are much closer, to support a smaller,, local business - but I will take my business elsewhere.

I was very impressed, wasn't there before I had received poor service from another Hardware store, so decided to try her, I was pleasantly acknowledge, I was helped in what I needed and the gentleman came down and held what I brought in so I could figure out the right size, yup I will be back they are going to sharpen my chain saw blades, thank you guys ?

Avoid this Ace Hardware. They do not stand behind the Ace Promise when you have an issue. An employee named Dennis will treat you rudely also.

I’ve been using this location for a few months. I’ve always had good service until today. The young rude and impatient clerk got quite condescending with me. Still a great place but I’ll shop elsewhere
