We have spent well over $1000 in this store. We love the colors and have had exceptional results with Benjamin Moore Paints.
The Color Bloc staff has been exceptionally helpful with color consultations and suggestions. Sydney has an eye for color and has picked out a few perfect colors for us!
Unfortunately, after using this paint for our new home we experienced a bad can in one room and didn’t realize it until we finished painting. Full color drench, doors and trim too.
When I came back to The Color Bloc to ask for a replacement they offered to give me a discount if I needed to buy a new can or I can put my painting project on hold until they call the rep and investigate the problem.
When it comes to customer service the young lady at the counter was very kind. She called the manager and relayed the message to me.
We still have two more floors to paint in our house to paint and will require a lot more paint! It seems silly to lose thousands of dollars on business rather than replace a bad can of paint.

1/5 for resolving customer concerns.

This family owned Detroit business is excellent and very convenient. I love having local access to all the paint and supplies I need for all my projects, big and small. Also, the showroom, designed by another women-owned local business (Concetti) is gorgeous (not your typical paint store). The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, in the best way. Definitely check it out!

This place is very nice but the people that work here are not. I was on the phone with my contractor trying to get the correct color match and a lady came from out the back and made a rude comment about me being on my phone in a place of business. This made me very uncomfortable and honestly upset. I do not recommend shopping here. Jennifer is the lady’s name.

I find the easiest way to upgrade a room is by painting it nicely. I don't know what it is about this place, but I just love coming here to buy paint. They have great colors and sell the mini samples to take home, which is a nice touch.
They also have a small selection of artwork by local artists for sale, which was a nice touch as well.
