My experience was absolutely awesome! I had a great time with my coworkers and our teacher Allison was an absolute GEM. Dying the items only requires your open mind (no artist talent necessary ???) . Allison was there to help as much or as little as we wanted. All the dye colors choices were beautiful and endless. The shop is very cute and there's plenty of items you'll want to buy for yourself as well as inspiration when dying your own items. Pickup was a breeze as well and Tammy was a joy during this time. She was great to speak with. It's always fun to have fun, but what puts the cherry on top is being able to give back to the community while doing it. I can safely speak on my groups behal and say a great time was had by all. I know a few people in my group have been there multiple times and I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great time.

This company came out to my daughter’s pediatrician and did free tye dye shirt making with the kids after vaccines. It was a really amazing surprise and the kids really loved it and had a lot of fun. Really appreciate this company and the people who were so kind as to come work in the parking lot and help all the kids. Thank you very much Detroit Dye House! :)

i stopped in this wonderful boutique while visiting from out of town. they have a lot of ready-to-wear pieces (tops, bottoms, dresses) but they also allow you to make your own custom tie-dye garment. you can bring in the clothing you want to tie-dye or pick from one of their stocked items. you can also tie-dye socks, which would make a great baby shower gift. tie-dye classes are available or if you're experienced, you can skip the class and use their facility to tie-dye on your own.

This place is awesome! I just did a dye class with my sister and sister in-law and the experience was excellent! Tammy is kind, a great teacher and so much fun to be around! I'm trying to find reasons to go back :)

A really great and unique thing to do in Corktown! New techniques, well explained, and friendly teachers. Plus cool dyed clothing to buy off the shelf.

They had a pop up at DYNO Detroit. It was well organized, guided us with our designs, and made the whole experience so fun and rewarding. The dyes are high quality so the result looked professional.

Detroit Dye House is the place to go for all your tie dye needs! I was in town for work and Detroit Dye House was a Google suggestion, I figured I’d stop in and support local! The shirts are very unique, you won’t find another around town! (Bonus, the Terry shirts are the softest I’ve ever had). The woman in the store was incredibly friendly and helpful, she also told me about the classes they facilitate- I can’t wait to come back for work and attend a class next time!

Went with my work coworkers for an outing and it was cool. The staff was super friendly and patient for the ones that never dyed before. Would defiantly do it again!
