He even steered us in the right direction in our search for legit Detroit style pizza. I highly recommend checking this out, as well as browsing the unique little shop filled with Detroit-themed tcotchkes, books, tees, sweats, glassware, and Pewabic Pottery tiles & coasters.”

“I would like to share my experience on a recent trip to Faircloth Boutique. Diane Schoenith (she & hubby own The Roostertail ) were having lunch at Marrow and walked across the street. We had such a wonderful afternoon trying on different outfits. Diane a size 6-8 and me 14-18 found the best finds! We were offered water and made to feel so welcome. She left with slacks and a pencil skirt… and I found a fabulous coat I am wearing to Paris in a week. So delighted to find this “gem” in the D. Will definitely be back…thank you.

“Omg. I never shop behind the main street that I live on or by but they were super nice and the store was super organized and in order. They were kind. So I will return because thier customer service was impeccable. Man, I am a super geek for customer service. If I had some money, I would have bought them dinner. The store was so neat and organized. “First time at this location was right after Christmas . The store was clean . We were greeted upon arrival . I purchased a Men’s watch for a photoshoot but ended up having to return it a week later . The return prices was seem less and the cashier I had was super patient and nice !”

“Part of the Peacock Room group that has more casual clothing. Younger vibe but same wonderful service. While I think they need to stock up on the larger sizes since they do run out of those but they were able to order my new book dress in a size I needed. Chest requires a larger size than my bottom half. The prices reflects the quality and American made clothing. Service is personal and great. I stop back every few months to see what new items they have.”

“I visited the Fisher Building through one of their free tours. It was absolutely amazing! It was very interesting to hear the history behind it and to discover so many fun facts regarding its construction. The guide Jacob was really nice, his enthusiasm and passion for history are contagious, making the whole experience very enjoyable. It was a lot of fun too, the time just flew by! Definitely recommend this experience to anybody that wants to do something different or that just wants to get a bit closer to the history of the beautiful Detroit.”

“I recently visited the Peacock Room with a friend who needed a dress for a very special event; her second wedding. She wanted a beautiful dress that would flatter her over 60 figure and set the tone for the wedding. We loved the Peacock Room! The store has an amazing selection of dresses but the owner, Rachel is truly the secret sauce of this wonderful business . She was kind, patient, helpful and friendly.
