Every time I come here, there’s always an issue with pulling up my account, something wrong with the system, or someone doesn’t know how to do something. They need to work on training and retaining their employees. Also, the teller didn’t even greet me when I came in, and stared at me awkwardly when I approached the booth. Very strange. Asked weird questions about me cashing a check (that wasn’t even a lot of money), as if I haven’t had an account with Comerica for over 10 years! I really try to avoid going to this location if I can.

STAY OTTA HERE!Park a wad of money in an account you've had for like 30 years, parked there for later use? They waste absolutely no time escheating that money to the state unless you do something, anything. No warning - no nothing. Completed that escheatment in less than 45 days. Now, sucker - you go get it! And, good luck! After all, they don't call it "Lansing" for nothing. My god! They don't want your money! (It's a bank. Can you imagine that?)Never confuse this outfit with Detroit Bank & Trust, for lifetimes a normal bank useful for anyone morphed over the years to this cockamaymee outfit..

Surprise! They're closed every day for lunch between 2-3! You won't find this on Google or even on the side door that patrons usually enter through the main hallway of the building. No, there is a little sign by the front door if it's actually unlocked and you enter there. Every day, even Friday when I and everyone else wants to cash their paychecks. Guess I should get direct deposit but I don't want to right now. No, I go all the way over to the Comerica on West Grand Boulevard cause they don't suck so bad and I need to cash my check before I work he dinner shift. Funny how every bank in the world can figure out how to stagger employee breaks so they don't have to close for an hour midday except for this one.

While employees of this particular branch are nice, friendly and accommodating I totally see how they would benefit from a training in banking services. Comerica bank is so left behind in the past. E.g. an online business account wouldn't allow to see your statements older than 6 MONTHS. In my chase account I can access statements 6 YEARS back. It literally costs a bank $0 to provide customers access to an old PDF file online (which they store anyways for audit purposes). Nope, with Comerica you lose your statements if you don't download them in 180 days. Speaking of the tax preparation time!!! You can't use Zelle or other electronic service to send money online. The only way to send a wire is by going to the branch which is a major hassle because among other basic things you have to explain a banker how to use the standard wire instructions. If you are out of town many states simply don't have Comerica branches, so other than depositing a check online you can't do much. The phone customer support is very nice. It doesn't help though because they usually advise to go to the branch to solve any problem. Changed your address and would like to order new checkbooks? Good luck, there is no way to mail checkbooks to a new address unless you go to the branch and change everything in person. I am disappointed with Comerica Bank and will be closing my account.

If you are downtown there is a Comerica Bank on Fort and Shelby.
