The ladies at the counter have bad attitudes. They got upset because I asked if they had an ETA on the Greyhound bus that was supposed to be here at 5:45. It finally arrived at 6:22 pm. They don't like questions at all. Please don't ask them anything.

Contrary to my concerns, the Greyhound station here was not so bad. There were always staff looking around, so I felt safer.

Very clean and secure. Never had any issues traveling through here. Edit; I jinxed it and we had an unexplained hour delay .

NO CURRENCY EXCHANGE! and if you use a cab from there make sure you ask about fares white Honda Odyssey with plates stev8 charged me 40$ to go one block that said staff there is awesome

This is the cleanest most efficient and safest Greyhound Station I visited this year by far! Very clean! The security are checking for tickets inside the station routine to protect us! The drivers are STELLAR safe and no nonsense! Give every single employee a HUGE RAISE! Thank you God for allowing me to meet my forever friends here especially Cassandra and Mr. Cunningham! Excellent experience Detroit! Nice job! Do NOT fall pray to the adorable peeps trying to sell u stuff I sure didn't lol.

Bad service had to go get a motel some people have to wait 24 hours in the terminal just to get on a bus all of a sudden we had to wait till next day late afternoon this is crazy so next time come prepared for me there will be no next time you never know i still have 10 hours to get to where im headed will see how that goes????

Don't bother with this company. Try to order tickets over the phone. The operator didn't understand that I didn't want to use my cellphone because of hacker activity. The operator again wouldn't work with me. She didn't speak clear English and was a joke.

First of all, I booked a round trip ticket which was a mistake on my end because the representative wouldn't change only my returning ticket to a new date. They were trying to change my original bus ticket too which would've been sold out if I didn't say f*** it and buy a new returning ticket.$40 later I go to my bus at 11pm and there's a no show driver/late driver. I was trying to contact customer service because there were no attendants at the station letting us know what was happening and of course no one at customer service answered. It said the reps were offline as well on the online chat.It's almost 1am at this point and a driver walks in that looks way too tired to drive. Like an unsafe amount of tired. He takes 20 minutes to even turn on the bus. Something was off so I left and had to call into work. Would rather be safe than sorry.Then I call the Greyhound customer service line this morning. They won't help me at all. No supervisor I could talk to either. They said I have to pay $20 just to make a change and book me on a new bus but aren't going to refund me...what's the point? Why wouldn't I just book a bus myself and save $20? I'm pretty much fuming at this point and will never take a bus to travel again.

If I could give it a 0 star I would. Definitely don't recommend came in from clare to Detroit arrived at 5 next bus supposed to come in at 835, there's no driver for bus. So here I am at 11pm still waiting when I'm informed I have to change my ticket to 630 am instead. Now I'm stuck waiting all night for a bus that won't be here until early AM and I'm not allowed to stay in the terminal since it closes at 1

A rating of 1 is generous. Two separate buses between Chicago and Detroit cancelled with around 20 minutes notice, with no further buses until the next day. Would recommend this service to precisely zero people.

This was the worst experience with transportation ive ever had in my life if you are able to go from another station please do so. We lost our bus 10 minutes before departure and then had to wait for 4-5 hours. I am under no illusion that unfortunate circumstances happen but the customer service was terrible. We GOT NO TYPE OF UPDATE OR COMMUNICATION ON WHAT WAS HAPPENING. the employees just kept replying i don’t know, just change your bus and laughed in our faces with no sense of urgency. then offered insincere apologies after no help whatsoever. DO NOT LEAVE FROM HERE. unless you plan to be delayed by hours. most of the buses leaving from the station dealt with this same issue.

What happened to this place? 15 years ago you could go out front and buy some smoke, bootleg CD's and a fake gold chain, kick it with the homeless for a while, then jump in one of the 15 cabs parked out front and be on your merry way. Very boring now ?
