I was just here and despite having a line 10 people along, Myles working the register was amazingly pleasant and patient and helpful with everyone. I give him 10 stars if I could.

The store is listed as open until 9 pm. The staff stop letting customers in at 8:40 pm. The staff stated that the store manager and general manager want the store closed up at that time. If the store is closed at 8:40 pm, the stores hours should state that to avoid customer disappointment. Customer's waste there time coming to the store when it's closed. If the store's official policy is to close the store at 8:40 Pm and begin refusing customers at this time then the stores hours need to be updated. If the stores policy isn't to close at 8:40 Pm and begin turning customers away at this time. Someone at corporate needs to let the local general manager, store manager and staff know this.

Some shelves are disastrous with items all over the place. It makes it difficult for customers to locate the right products. This location needs more love and care.

Great location but service and wait time is horrible. On top of that, I was just shopping in there and a HUGE rat (the size of a puppy) came strolling down the isle... I told the cashier what I saw and she stated other customers have said the same thing. Please call out Pest Control because for a rat to come out in the day time, while customers are shopping is crazy. I can deal with the long lines especially if under staffed but rodents are completely unacceptable.

As for being an actual employee there, i do not recommend going to this store for shopping and just to work there. Today was the day i got fired and i am okay with it. The management is really really horrible, the communication is really bad, things are always
going to be in the wrong spot, and best of yet, things are expensive just for no reason. Multiple people got fired and yet they would just say that its just business. Money is more important to them rather than your mental health/life. Speaking of money and things, if you work there, you pay full price like everyone else and yet still says its all about business. They lied about my write ups and even overwhelmed me with a lot of things. I was more of an self taught employee rather than anything. I couldn't even finish the things i had to do because i always had to help out at the front and help out other people at the front and yet still get rushed to do a lot or give me a certain time to finish something and if i don't, its a write up. They say that you can always work on something you are not good at, yet that is a lie as well. Want to know about scheduling? All of my scheduling were all PM for i think 3-4 weeks because they were lacking on employees and other things. The employees are friendly but the the managers are just bad. Whenever the PA says if you are interested to work here, do NOT work there unless if you want

Compare posted in store prices with the actual charged prices which are generally higher. Merchandise is out of place and shelves are often bare.

This location is very poorly ran. Always junky. New product that has been delivered is always in the isles and not put on the shelves making it almost impossible to walk down certain aisles to look for what you need. This is a regular practice whomever is running this particular location needs to be fired there needs to be overhaul of all these stores in the city of detroit. Seems to me that when certain stores like Dollar general that are in the city of Detroit are very poorly kept as opposed to locations outside of the city. This needs to be addressed immediately.

No. Just no. Weird rancid smell that I've noticed the last few times I've been here near the fridges. Today I walked in there and walked out bc it just hit me in the face. Noticed that the fridges had a bunch of towels undeath them. It's either leaking something, there's mold, or whatever they're using to clean it is super strong. Literally another lady did the same and she said the smell was making her nauseous. Hell nope.

I was walking up and down isles that teen girls would like and then got accused of trying to steal and I was only in there for 5 minutes and got accused of stealing even though i just wanted to stay within a budget. Terrible customer service!!!
