Wonderful unexpected antiques and artistic items. We are antique dealers and it is a pleasure to find a shop like this and find so many well chosen items. We only wish we lived closer to we could visit again soon. The prices are reasonable for the caliber of the collection. Finding junktiques is not going to happen here.

Lots of selection but WWAAYY too pricey for Detroit. Maybe that is their marketing plan but there are tons more places with much better pricing in the area.

Marketplace has some of the better antiques, not the junk the other places carry. The owners are knowledgeable and great guys. If you love antiques, don't miss this place.

For those that have a love of antiques Detroit's Marketplace Antiques is the spot for you. Located on Gratiot just down from the Eastern Market area, Marketplace Antiques stocks gorgeous antique furniture that will set any living space apart from the rest. Just west of St. Aubin, AM offers patrons endless choices of pieces ranging from tables, armoires, and beautiful bedroom furniture. Of course, the prices are steep, but that's expected when purchasing pieces of such caliber. All the pieces are in great shape and one would wonder whether they have ever been used, but the owners of this darling shop know how to restore fine pieces of furniture, making them appear more like pieces of art, than furnishings. So, if you're looking for a one of a kind period specific piece stop on in.
