SCAM PART ALERT .. I went here 2 months ago after leaving a 5 star review… I went to Motech Automotive 15651 west Warren Detroit MI 48228. He had to remove the struts Maurice put on because they broke and it’s not even 2 months later. He showed me Maurice parts versus my parts I brought on Amazon let me tell you I am a girl and I could tell these parts were a piece of crap….. I will be spreading the word about this Shop scamming single mothers out of their money. I paid $1200 for this old man to scam me out of my money share your story shut this business down money is too hard to come by for people to be scamming on you, thanks to Paul at Moto Tech. He showed me the parts now I know the whole truth about Maurice Shop then try to make me get some brakes did for $400. The man is a scam artist. No wonder why he won’t let you bring your own parts. He wants you to use his parts because his parts are defects.Then he says he can’t find me in his computer lol ITS A CRIME TO POST FAKE REVIEWS.. soon as I get back in town guess I gotta pay someone a visit with my credit card statement and my receipt.Now he got FAKE REVIEWS LOL after I posted about him SCAMMING LOL … Wow you a real character….

Great service, quick turnaround, and Maurice was really helpful! Super reasonable pricing too. I was in the middle of a cross country road trip and had some big problems with my front suspension, and Maurice figured out the issue and got it fixed within a day. What a guy!

Maurice is a fantastic Auto tech! Every time I call he almost always personally answer's the phone and listens to the issues I'm having with my car. He's calm and soft spoken. He takes me seriously and treats me with respect both in person and everytime I hit him up with more problems needing to be fixed. He's the first guy who I've ever met that takes a genuine interest in the way I explain what's going on with my car and can accurately pinpoint what the issue is based off nearly that alone. I've never felt like he wanted to scam me or took me for a fool. He always has my car fixed within a few hours to just 1 day and the prices of repairs have always been significantly cheaper than everywhere else I have ever gone. I wish I wasn't just a broke student at wsu and lived here in detroit full time so I could always have access to him and his shop whenever my car has issues. If you're looking for an affordable place to take your car where you're not gonna be ripped off. One that's safe, clean, and not ghetto. I highly suggest you try Maurice's. It's worth it.

Does great work. Has done a lot of work over the years for me and my family. Seems very busy right now. Quoting $1000 for brakes which surprises me, but I assume he's not dying for more work. If you can get in and if you can afford it, he's worth it.

Maurice is always quick, fair, and kind. I am lucky to live in walking distance of this shop and whenever I have a problem, I call him right away. I have come here with big and small issues, or even just called with questions, and he always talks me through my options in a way I can understand. Very reliable, in early and in late. I recommend Maurice's to everyone, especially my ladies who need someone they can trust!

Needed a and came in on a Thursday. Maurice said return on Saturday morning and by noon it was fixed at a very reasonable price.

My wife was in town for a conference and her car started to stall at stop lights. Maurice quickly figured it out and had it fixed well after the shop was closed. Great guy! True professional and so happy we found him!

Maurice got our power steering leak diagnosed to the hose and fixed quick and was able to work around our schedule to so that we could swap out our equipment to a rental for a day. Definitely recommend you give his team a chance.
