Second time I've ordered on the app at least an hour before I wanted the food. Each time the food was not ready until 20+minutes after it was promised. This last time I ordered it 2 hours prior. While I was waiting a customer came back and let them know half their order was missing from the bag. Clearly there are issues with this location. Never have this issue with other locations.

Every Saturday I order Panera and my food is right every time! The one time it wasn’t I got $10 off coupon and a full refund. I love Panera ?

Placed an order on 2/22 for pick up today(2/23) and received an email saying it was ready for pick up. Get to the store to find out my order is not available and could not be filled. This could have been communicated before I came all the way downtown. Now I have to wait 5 days for a refund instead of giving me my money back in the store.

I placed my order at11:35am via the ap. I received a confirmation said that my order would be ready at 11:53. I arrive at 11:53 and looked at the board and it didn't say that my order was ready. 11:53 I receive a text that my order is taking longer than expected. I later receive a text at 12:09 stating my order was ready. I open the bag to confirm my order was correct and noticed I bad bread instead of chips. I approached the counter and politely asked the male with braids if I could have the chips instead of the bread. He never said a mumbling word. It was as though he was upset that I asked for what I actually ordered. He then cut his eyes grabbed the chips placed them on the counter and walked away. I thought to myself that God is really working on me. I figured I'd provide a review rather than address the unprofessional face to face. I work in the Ren Cen and no other food establishment conducts themselves like this.

Waited for my food long time and then wrong item on the food was given. When I went back to say this is not what I wanted. The manager with her rude comments telling me I have an attitude. No I don’t have an attitude I paid for the food and waited long time to receive wrong food?!?!? Is this an attitude of mine or the attitude of Panera Bread with very poor and unprofessional attitude?!?!?

I placed an order for a breakfast sandwich. There’s so many people waiting for food (myself included) just to be told they don’t have an item. When trying to talk to the people making the food, the manager just rudely interrupts and says “LETS IUST GET YOU A REFUND!” Some people have been waiting over an hour! I just don’t understand. Why not try to offer solutions instead of just saying “LETS GET YOU A REFUND!” And if you’re out of something. Just say so! It’s not that hard! I’ve worked in food most of my life and a simple “Im sorry; we don’t have that at the moment” takes 2 seconds to say.Update: got my sandwich, it’s ice cold. Not even going to bother at this point. Best of luck to those who come here.

I use to enjoy coming to this location at GM Ren Cen. The atmosphere is beautiful at the waterfront and the Panera staff were prompt and efficient. Unfortunately, they don't care anymore. This place is chaotic and poorly managed. I had to wait almost a half hour for a bagel with cream cheese! By the time they called my name, the bagel I had ordered was no longer available, so I had to choose a different one.My last trip there in November 2023, was DISGUSTING. While waiting to order, I watched a male employee (a large guy), wipe his nose and not wash his hands. He walked around, took his time and looked disinterested in providing any service -- he never acknowledged me as I waited. Then HIS NASAL DRIP STARTED AND HE CAUGHT IT WITH HIS HANDS! He grabbed a paper towel, blew his nose and still NEGLECTED TO WASH HIS HANDS! I walked out and won't return.

This is my absolute favorite location for Panera bread. Grab a snack or drink, and enjoy the breeze on the Detroit River right out the back door. Don't forget the beautiful interior of the Renaissance Center/GM building. Recommend a visit, I often visit my accounts there.

This is the worst Panera bread restaurant that I've ever been in. I have now been sitting more than a half an hour waiting for my sandwich. I have no idea when it's coming I will not be coming back to Panera bread ever again.

Was a nice location with the view and with easy access to the GM building the downside is there is no free parking to pickup an order. Didn't know where to go so I called and I was told to turn my hazard lights on and park in front of the building where it says no parking and pick up my rapid pick-up order.

I've gotten delivery from here twice ands both times my orders were way off. I asked for extra cucumbers- I got none. I asked for arugula to be added- nope. My sandwich was supposed to have peppadew peppers- also missing. My drink was also missing. The cost of having my lunch (you pick two) was $20. That's pretty pricey, especially when it wasn't even close to being correct. I will not be ordering from here again. Corporate customer service was fantastic. They more than made up for this.

How long does it take to make a chicken salad? Ridiculous amount of time spent waiting. If you are in a rush or don't have 30 minutes to wait go elsewhere. Additionally, the first item I ordered was "not available".

Some of the rudest service I've experienced anywhere. I simply asked the lady who took my order if I could have an apple after I was not offered a choice. She said I had to ask the person who packed my order at the pickup counter. When I asked the lady at the pickup counter she said, "No you ordered chips". I told her that I asked for an apple and was told to tell her. She grabbed my chips, threw them back onto her counter put an apple in and then threw my order onto the counter. lasked her if it was indeed my order and she pretended I didn't exist. I had to ask three times if it was my order before she answered me. There was no other way to even tell if it was my order or not.
