This location is ???! Been workin in midtown for nearly 10 years as an educator where long hours are spent at home preparing for instruction - so much so that you forget to cook a lunch for the next day (many times due to fatigue). And then Plum Market comes along with AMAZING quality food and a fair price and I've -- well, I've not stopped coming!!

I thought it was just ok the food is good but it’s over priced for what you get really but it did taste good. Just wish it was a little bit cheaper than it is.

So first let's clarify, this is a Plum Market Kitchen, not the larger Plum Market which is a grocery store. The primary reason this place exists is for the lunch crowd in Tech Town/New Center. You should also know this is a no cash establishment, you will need a card.Every day is a new menu with hot food items and a salad bar. Today was Jamaican pineapple j*** chicken, they also had rice, asparagus, and pork ribs. You take whatever you want but keep the hot and cold food separated. The food is always excellent and made in house in their kitchen. They also offer a large selection of drinks. You pay by weight, so hot food and cold food are weighed separately. My hot container weighed 1.03 lbs and cost me $13.63 after tax.I'm so happy this place is back open after losing so many local restaurants to COVID closures.

The food options were limited and the hours are so limited that it borders inaccessible. It's a beautiful building and they offer plenty of options for Pistons

I usually get the salads or soups. The food is hit or miss. It's not always good.

I live in the neighborhood and I’ve been eagerly waiting for them to open. What are these hours? Why would you be closed on the weekend? It’s pretty obvious this grocery store had no intention of serving the community. Pointless.

Plum Markets are great gourmet/upscale stores. The demographics for the Pistons center is the thriving business community, not residents. I would guess that business hours will be revisted once a traffic pattern is established.

I loved the Market when it was open. Very nice for quick items and a great supplement to Marcus Market on 2nd and Forest Market on Warren. I wish they'd open back up.

Reassessing my review on the basis that they're closed through covid despite being right opposite a giant apartment block full of hipsters. C'mon man we need our avocados and kombucha.

This is a much needed market in what would otherwise be considered a "grocery desert". It has numerous healthy options complimentary to an active lifestyle. Plum Market also has an extensive selection of alcoholic delights for those who want more international options for their gatherings and such. The floral department is impressive and sure to please people, especially those interested in leafier plants. While I understand that this is meant to be a "quick stop shop" I would have liked to have a larger fresh fruit/vegetable section...maybe to take some of the spaced hogged by the sparkling waters. Right now, if I were to buy vegetables they would be those prepared ones from the hot bar(I will admit, the string beans are delicious).Otherwise, thank you and welcome to New Center!

Gorgeous Plum Market!I shop spend my money at Plum often (particularly in prepared foods), and this one is among the prettiest. It is around a developing neighborhood and will surely be one of the mainstays of the burgeoning areaAs a Pistons fan, the Championship Trophies (replicas?) Are an awesome touch to be just outside the entrance. Glad to see Plum expanding!

Having been in New Center since 1983-- Fisher Building than TechTown, well this amazing market/gathering spot, with family roots deep in Metro Detroit, is a 'game changer' to make New Center an inclusive upscale community for new talent.Inside the new world class Detroit Piston's Performance Center and Wm. Clay Ford Center for Athletic Medicine, well-- healthy living is now attainable with the curated fresh organic foods available everyday.Really happy this happened and it will create more positive impact for this urban community center making a big comeback from the Glory days of GM's triumphs that made New Center a hotbed during first 60 years of 20th century. Reinvention is a Motown mantra.

I'd like to say welcome to the neighborhood but, it seems this store didn't actually plan on being part of the New Center community. Maybe its a write off?? Not sure why it needs the aisles of wine & booze instead of fruits & vegetables....or that now they changed their hours for their hot food selections? After questioning the manager, it seems they are happy with supporting the people from the offices upstairs. M-F 12-2pm This is very disappointing but, a little funny because they obviously did NOT do their homework. (Its almost insulting to have them here)
