Terrific way to end the day! I had spent the afternoon at the Detroit Institute of Arts and made the short walk over to Seva to meet my family for dinner. Tasty and beautiful food

If you're looking to eat at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Detroit with a variety of dishes and an environment that is friendly, this is the place. We enjoyed our dishes. I will admit, although really delicious, the vegan spinach artichoke dip was a bit much for me. It felt too heavy to eat, and then I remembered that non-vegan spinach artichoke dip is also really thick and heavy like this. I guess you can't fault them for creating an alternative that mimics the diary version. Great place to eat and chill.

Feels like the quality has really gone down and prices are insane. $20 some bucks for an egg wrap is ridiculous, and the potatoes they serve it with were clearly stale or a day old. We were also the first table in that morning and the food was clearly not fresh. The beans and corn are straight out the can. The coconut soup was way too salty and had to be sent back. This place does not deserve to charge the prices they are. Babo down the street is way cheaper and actually quality.

The best way to describe the food is it's good bar food at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant price... Very greasy with limited spices at an obnoxious price. The one alcoholic beverage my girlfriend got for her birthday had an extremely small amount of alcohol in it for $12... They were out of numerous items on their menu, the waiter when he was actually able to be found, had very little knowledge on the food and no real opinions on what was good or not. Bathrooms were gross. Easily the best part of the entire experience was the desert options. My best advice is to go down the street to HopCat for better food, better service, better drinks and save yourself $35 (based on 2 people).

We love Seva, both locations but this one is our favorite. The servers and managers are all so friendly and make you feel very comfortable, the vibe is warm and positive, and that's just not something you get much of anymore, so I love really places like this. The food, wow! The food is amazing, everything we've ever had was 10 out of 10, consistently. And everything was clean, the tables, the walls, floors, cutlery, cups, bathrooms, everything. We love your restaurant, thank you for continuing to serve amazing food in a clean and healthy environment, all while treating people with kindness and respect. You are appreciated!

Nice place for vegetarian food in midtown. Ambience is okay.

One of the best vegetarian food that we had during our stay in Detroit. Lovely ambience and so many options to choose. My top picks are the peanut stir fry and lemon almond tart. Can't beat them. Would love to revisit again.

Great food. All items are vegan with dairy options. Good drinks. Service can be a bit slow at times but management is great if any issues with food. Wife and I eat here a lot. Make it part of our Detroit weekend. East parking on the street with the park in Detroit

As a vegetarian with a friend named Seva, I was really looking forward to try it here. We arrived at 5:15 on Sunday and were told it would be a 15 min wait. After about an hour of waiting with a hungry toddler, we had to leave. The entire time we were waiting, we didn't see any food leave the kitchen. No one was called to sit at their table either. And we couldn't even find anyone to tell them we were leaving. I also want to add the chairs to sit in while waiting we're incredible uncomfortable, leading down hill so you're sitting at a slant downward, with a chair railing your upper back. We ordered Slows to Go while sitting and waiting and had our food within 20 min.

The service and food have completely gone downhill. I am so sad to see this from having a longtime love affair with this restaurant. They had un bussed dirty tables everywhere. The food was inconsistent. We were Celebrating a birthday and was completely embarrassed at the level of bad service and food. The sauce they served were nothing like in the past it was flavorless. The pesto was oily. They would not put our sandwich on our preferred bread and everything that came out was wrong. Let's hope the Ann Arbor is still giving the wonderful food they used to have. So sad they don't respect Detroit diners.
