If you can go ANYWHERE ELSE, you should. Try taking your photo and submitting it yourself first to avoid the fees. I came in 10 minutes early for my passport appointment. And waited more than an hour for it to even start. Online it says 10-15 minutes for the process, I had all of my documents together and just needed the photo services truly. It should not have been that hard to get in and out if they were doing their scheduled appointments appropriately. The three groups infront of me had signed up for the same amount of time I did, yet they had multiple people and I was just one person. Either adjust the appointment time to accommodate groups, or don’t allow people to come in with more people than they originally scheduled for. In the middle of my work day, and on my lunch break, I wasted my whole hour at the post offices waiting room. Just to be told that they had to accommodate for extra persons. I would’ve happily come back in 30-45 minutes if they informed me of this, and maybe I could’ve gotten myself some food and been less angry ant the til. It’s very disrespectful to the people who are able to show up early and with all the proper documents minus a photo. I should not have had to wait this long for something that took 10 minutes to complete. Absolutely irritating process.

Delivery was going as expected until it got to this facility. It arrived there on the 24th of April, its currently the 6th of may and still sitting there. Expected delivery was the 25th of April. This is ridiculous

Almost every package takes days of either bouncing between Detroit facilties, or holding items there. And change tracking information while items leave Detroit facility. Detroit USPS is very broken, aren't we glad we're paying more for this terrible service!

Mailed a first class flat parcel on Friday 12/13. It did not leave Detroit for SIX days until Thursday 12/19 meaning it sat, God knows where, at the same place for almost a week before it was deemed worthy enough to maKe it's way to FL.

We chose a flat rate envelope that should have been... you guessed it, A FLAT RATE. My husband had to pay double the rate for no clearly explained reason. He tried to ask why it was a different price than what was clearly listed, and the employee was offended he asked a simple question. It is not hard to be kind to your customers. I do not understand her rudness. I don't know if the very rude employee pocketed the overage or just is incompetent like it says in the majority of the other reviews at this location. But I want a refund for your careless employees' mistake. And based on the numerous horrible reviews, it seems like you really need to clean house. I'm deeply disappointed in your treatment of your customers and your shady overcharging.

BEWARE: This is the worst Post Office in the whole city of Detroit. I was witness to the incompetence and unprofessionalism from one of the two regular mail clerks. She decided that A CUSTOMER wasn't allowed to walk out with their package and decided to CUT IT OPEN, VIDEO RECORD THE CUSTOMER, AND THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE all because he asked too many questions and she decided that she had enough of it.Can I give it 0 stars?

The worst USPS location. The staff is always the same two workers who are both equally as rude and unhelpful as the other. I have been here probably a dozen times since living across the street from this USPS, but am going to start driving to another one instead of walking here because I have never had a positive interaction in this store. I don’t understand why the staff are so rude and snotty every single time, I have never been anything but friendly and try to smile at them just to be met with attitude. Super disappointing since it is so convenient to just walk here :(

This post office in the Ren Cen is useless. They never accept any of my packages every time I go in there and always make up an excuse why they can’t take my package. Staff is rude and always give me problems. I never have this issue at any other post office location. Don’t waste your time going to this location. The main post office location on Fort street is much better. I will not be returning to this location.

This just proves how obsolete the United States Postal Office really is.A package departs from Wixom, to Detroit, to Pontiac, to get to St. Clair Shores.Extremely inefficient. Degenerates.Disappointing.Pretty soon the Post Office will be a place of the past.

This is ridiculous! I ordered a pkg from Ebay that was shipped Dec 22. It gets to Detroit , they send it to Toledo ,then back to Detroit 2 times ! Then to Pontiac MI. Now it's in Flint MI when it was supposed to be delivered by today in Ohio! Do you ppl not pay attention!!!! Happens everytime I order !
