This is a straight-up pharmacy, locally owned and operated. No frills except a row of (really exciting) vending machines full of intriguing toys. The staff is really friendly and helpful. That's such an understatement. The staff is wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and are good at making me feel comfortable despite some pretty heavy anxiety issues. The prices on the retail drugs are excellent, very competitive with prices all over town. They stock a wide range of medicines, as well as a few basics in medical equipment and devices. My partner and I have both transferred our prescriptions here, and have both been incredibly happy with the service.

Snagged a couple of vaxx appointments here for my mom and grandma on Saturday and it could not have gone better. I drove them and went in with them to assist should either have had a reaction (neither did--WHEW!) so I was able to familiarize myself with the process. Check in was easy (they were not previous patients so we had to do the insurance submission card thing, which was fine). They were a little behind in taking them in since there were only two in the pharmacy and they also had regular customers coming in but the whole process went really smoothly. My grandma went in first, then my mom and they said it was easy, the pharmacist was gentle and helpful and the shot itself was painless. The staff could not have been nicer. My sweet, very health compromised grandma had to use the restroom and the pharmacist kindly let her use the facility in the back of the store room. The tech who checked us in was patient and friendly, and the store itself was clean, spacious and well organized. We had some time to kill as they want you to stick around for about 15 minutes to make sure you don't have an adverse reaction so we browsed a bit and even saw some super cute spring decor and plant pots that we picked up. Honestly, Rite Aid isn't my drug store chain of choice (mostly because of proximity) but since they're the pharmacy in Michigan with the most vaccine access I've become very familiar with their locations and website and I've become SUPER impressed by the brand and how they've structured the process. Booking online is pretty easy once you find an appointment and they keep communication to text or email, updating you with times and even scheduling your 2nd dose for you so you don't have to worry about it. Really appreciate everything they've done to step up and keep the community vaccination effort going. And a thousand stars to them from me for vaccinating my beloved family members, too.

Elizabeth tang me up. She was beyond kind and so so sweet. Don't want to go into too much detail but she made my night. Hope someone sees this and realizes what a wonderful and irreplaceable employee they have.

Five stars for the pharmacy. I have been to this location a few times and each was amazing. I have had vaccines, travel medications, and antibiotics from this location. When my travel prescriptions were not covered the pharmacy made accommodations to bill a coupon card I received, the vaccinations were covered in full by my insurance, and the antibiotic I had filled was a last minute prescription that had been called in right before closing and the pharmacy was able to have it filled for me to pick up right away. The prompt care and excellent service will not go unnoticed and in the case I need these services again I will certainly be back to this location.

This review is reflective of the female pharmacist and a young male pharmacy tech. Hortiable follow through! Not to be trusted to follow up we ith your Dr. To fill scripts in proper time. Rx's support and save lives. This pharmacist disreguard and complete lack of follow through with her job to ensure timely fill if a patient's life saving medication. On more the a half dozen occasions she has filled 3 of 5 or 4 of 5 scripts that all renew at the same time. If it was not for me calling or visiting the pharmacy make scripts would not be filled in a safe timely manner. There is a gentleman pharmacist who is always consistant and follows through. If your loved one is fill rx's at the midtown rite aide you should always check to make sure there filled. This not a laughing Manor. People die from not having there medication. And if u did my job like this female pharmacist and the pharmacy tech I would have been terminated from my employement. SHAMEFUL!
