Love Goodwill but seems after COVID there prices have just skyrocketed. To expensive for a Goodwill. Found things in Goodwill that are cheaper on Amazon.

I have to give a shout out to the people who are working at this store. They are very nice.
I will say this. I was shocked that I only found a couple things that were under $10.

They have a good selection, but I have 2 issues. 1. Prices have seemed to drastically pass inflation rates. $6 minimum for a basic pair of shorts. Did they forget they acquire all of these for free?
2. I found a pretty significantly damaged skirt. The hem had a huge chunk out of the back. Hard to tell from the front, but very noticeable from the back. A good 6 inches of fabric was missing. I asked if I could get a discount since it was damaged (I could probably have figured out a way to fix it, but not for $6). they "don't do that". So, they put it back out on the floor for the next person to notice.
TLDR I have not gone to Goodwill in probably a year. Prices have tripled and they knowingly sell damaged goods at full price.

I was hired on here and the hiring staff ghosted me for about a month due to a communication mistake on their end. I was not even told when they decided to fire me, and then they pretended like I was never hired at all. They never directly contacted me again, I had to beg for any communication at all, to which they sent me an email telling me they "decided to go with another candidate" when I had literally gone through the employee onboarding process at this point. Horribly unprofessional company, I suggest not applying here if you need work, as this was such a bad mistake on their part that I am going to lose my apartment. The person who handled my hiring was Amelia, she is the only one in charge for this store, it wasn't even possible for the other managers to know what was going on with her hiring process. She is awful and unprofessional. I hope her mistakes lead her to a life without a job as well.

The way the fitting room mirrors are screwed into the wall gives the mirrors a fun house effect, thus giving weird body shapes and totally kills the desire to buy any of the clothes I tried.

easily the worst goodwill in all of Michigan. The prices here are ridiculous, and they keep getting worse. Every shoe is 9.99-99.99… yes, $99.99 for a pair of used shoes, I saw a pair of jeans yesterday for 20$… 20$ FOR PANTS?!?!??!???!?? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! This place needs new managers who don’t mark things up so they can get their cut. If I could give a zero star review, I would.

Rude customer service! Trying to donate and the guy comes out and started taken my stuff out of bin and laying it on the ground. I understand you didn't except the light fixtures and I was taken them back but the rudeness was definitely uncalled for!
