Great location, clean surroundings however some staff needs training on how to deal with none Michigan/American residents. I went to this store because I was in the area to get some rolling paper. I ordered the item and handed my none Michigan driver’s license to Debbie who was the cashier at the time, who rejected my government issued document because she wasn’t able to scan it. I told her that all the other locations normally check on my D.O.B and proceed with my order, she became rude and push my driver’s license back to me and said she will not sell me. I requested a supervisor/Manager and was told none was present.
You’re in an environment where travelers stay, you’re gonna have none Americans stoping to get personal items so you all need to address this because I felt Debbie racially profiled me because I’m colored skin.

I live near by and between my gas cigarettes and monster energy addiction I spend alot of money at this particular store visiting up to 3 times a day spending 30 to 80 a day most employees are responsible and respectful but I think it is lost on others that they are working COSTUMER SERVICES and ur going to deal with many walks of life there for attitude and tone is important so when I go to use 100 dollar bill one should not act as if I personally offended them work isn't always easy some times we actually have to work at work and Deb decided to get upset with this concept and chose to tell me how they were not a bank Iand that I shouldn't bring it there witch after a few more comments did react with some choices words but she could have given the same message respectfully that opportunity was missed

Service is bad at the cafe. I occasionally order 2 or 3 subs and the guy (Jakob) making them seems like its inconvenience and was tossing pans around shaking his head in frustration. I almost canceled my order. My order was the only order and it took 26 mins. 2 subs and 2 plain hotdogs.

Speedy cafe employee is terrible. I told him hi and thank you, have a nice day and he just stared and walked away. Very slow. Caucasian guy with facial hair. I let the cashier know and she agreed. Not sure how far up it will go.

So for like 30+ years I scoffed at the idea of eating gas station food. Bored with all the other options in the area, I decide to try the Speedy Cafe panini sandwich. To my surprise, these are actually quite good. Not great, but pretty good...good enough to be considered as a reasonable choice. ...The things on the hot rollers soaking all day in putrid grease...I'm still going to pass. But I can recommend the panini sandwiches. Also the staff here is really great, and the place is always pretty clean.
