Rebuilt my engine. Poorly. Completely ripped me off. As others experienced, lied, engine consumed excessive oil. 1 quart every 400 miles to be exact. He kept blowing me off, telling me to give it more time to break in trying to run the clock on his pathetic 1 year warranty. Then never stood behind it or honored warranty. Engine was not built properly and when it started falling apart during the pathetic 1 year warranty period he refused to stand behind it. First it was the rocker arms, then the connecting rods, then a valve stem. Each time I showed him the engine he built and how it was falling apart and each time he blew me off, ghosted me, and left me to have to pay another mechanic to fix. Finally the piece of junk he built dropped a valve destroying the block cylinder wall and one head. All in barely more than 1 year. After it blew up I called him again and showed him pictures and he again he blew me off and ghosted me. Took zero responsibility for building an engine that had nothing but problems from day one and exploded in a little over a year.

Steve is in regular contact with customers to provide updates on their projects. I have FE 490 with him now and it's pretty close to being done.

Slow makes claims can't keep! Have to tare his engines back apart because you won't believe it's correct as you won't have a warranty or he wouldn't give me one as he said it's a race motor! Told me he is selling his shop after picking my engine up. 396 Chevelle are bunk 350 sbc smoke a BBC any day setup by someone other than this guy doing engine work an Body shop work out the same garage not listed on paper overall poor experience and you know it Steve.Service: Engine repair

Had engine put together by him took over many yrs to put together Stole parts I provided an used my parts to build other engines He told me this my engine was supposed to have Howards cam an he stuck enginetech parts in which I didn't pay for so he took my parts an put someone else's in my block Overall he should be banned from owning a business or working on cars!

Amazing guys, took my cylinder head from a honda cbr in to get a snapped bolt removed. Very friendly and understanding. They gave me a quick, reliable estimate and time frame. Was finished on time as expected and did an amazing job at getting the bolt removed properly. 10/10 would recommend these guys.

they had my 2.4 L ecotec engine if my daily driver for 6 months! I paid over $4k for a complete rebuild and I'm still burning just as much oil as before. 1 qt every 800 miles after all that time and money is unacceptable! I was told, welp, nothing can be done. those engines just burn oil.. then why would they do the piston and ring job if it couldn't be fixed?? from my research, it can be fixed, it just wasn't done right! Steve constantly lied about the work being done and how much longer it would take.

Steve is one of the nicest people you will ever meet BUT He had my SBC for more than a year and barely worked on it. He bored it 30 over and that was just about it in the year. After missing 4 promise dates I asked for my 3500 deposit back and it was on from there. AGAIN nice person but if you have time and don't mind getting let down over and over use his service BUT I ABSOLUTELY WOULD (NOT) use him..I want to say I hate to leave this kind of feedback but he earned it..So Sad it turned out this way !!!

They had a friend of mine car tore apart for a year and it still isn't right. This guy is so slow and is a pathologic liar so every word he says you better fact check. If he tells you a month a dd has it a year you been had. I wouldn't hire him to build a lawnmower engine!
