This is a great hardware store - the kind every town should have. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful folks. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll know who does. I’m a big time DIYer, and maker of many things. This store has kept a project going or bailed me out when I was short that one part I needed. But they also have a gift side of their store that my wife absolutely loves - the only hardware store she loves to visit. And she takes her friends from out of town to shop there. Unusual kitchen products, nice selection of one of a kind gifts, unique mugs and toys. Worth a visit in this quaint downtown area.

Completely bespoke like this one. Much like your dad's or grandad' hardware but with all the modern contents. Great selection and helpful staff.

I want to send a shout out to Sean and Alex at Hackney hardware in Dexter, Michigan. These two young men took on the project of replacing the string in my Dewalt weed whipper. They did not give up when facing difficulty and were successful in the end. I was so pleased with their wonderful help and delightful personalities.
