It's a good fishing place to take kids and beginner s, who have had a hard time catching a fish at other locations. Yo and your kids are guaranteed to catch a Trout or Catfish. They have separate ponds for both breeds. Also they supply the rods and bait or you can bring your own. Check their website for any restrictions. You pay per pound for every fish (which is about 1-2 lbs) you catch and there is a very small fee (cents) to have what you caught cleaned and deboned. The cost per fish was worth the experience, the free equipment use, and bait. I loved that they have picnic tables and grills where you can cook what you have just caught. They have a fishing spot just for kids and play area, which is nice as well. The customer service there is great and very helpful. I will be taking my grandson there again, for more fun fishing and taking memorable pictures of the fishes they caught.

3 stars for meeting expectation of fishing and being organized. Additional star for the environment and exceeded expectations for the overall process. Very thankful the cost included cleaning the fish, etc. You can basically catch and go home with fish to cook/eat...we were able to sornd more time being creative with cooking. Additional star for the staff. When we were there on July 18th, Austin amd Lorie were awesome! We had many questions and were new, which they answered everything with a smile and offered various advice...we felt like we made fishing friends! We're coming back...

Went here with friends and had a really good time, something different which is always fun. Caught plenty of fish we all did and had it cleaned up by them. Seemed a bit pricey but they do all the work so that has to be figured in I suppose. The grounds were clean neat, just would've been nice if the wash stations actually had soap at them.. Overall great experience, though one of the staff was overly friendly and we didn't even realize he was staff until we were leaving and saw him at a table actually doing work instead of going around and messing with everyone. Anyone who worked there outside had a STAFF shirt on but him, was weird...

I love this place. 💜The fish is fresh and big.😁 They will clean and fillet the fish for you, for a decent price. 💵 It's fun and I had a wonderful experience.🤗

What a great time we had here today. My 4 year old caught his first fish ever here, and it was within a matter of minutes! Spring Valley cut the fish up for you to be prepared there on-site, or to take home - you pick. Lots of families. Great place for all...if you enjoy fishing and eating fish, that is :)

Technically they should get five stars. But when they say they supply the fishing poles.
They really don't make it clear that you're getting cane poles,
12 to 14 ft long. They just don't get out far enough in my opinion.
That was the first time.
The second time we went we took our own gear.
Please take your own fishing equipment. Do not rely on those cane poles if you have children they are too heavy for them.
The guy that was there helping us out his name was Jake he did a wonderful job thank you buddy I appreciate it.

Family friendly fishing fun! Highly recommend! It’s a $5 entry fee per person. Bamboo poles and bait (worms) are provided. The staff is super friendly and helpful and will clean your fish and bag and ice for the ride home.
