What a truly pleasant surprise this little gem of a hotel turned out to be!! Quaint, clean rooms ...and ours had a huge deck off of our bedroom that overlooked the water and sunsets! The owners, Becky and Jack are simply awesome people, so happy to have crossed paths with them. The restaurant is no longer open, but Jack makes THE best pizza we've ever eaten!! Fun area to run around in...we will definitely go back!

We stayed two nights here over Labor Day weekend.... Loved everything about it! The restaurant is no longer open...but Jack makes pizzas out of the restaurant and you'd better place your order Early because the area knows his pizza and they order for pick up on a regular! The nicest owners ever! We'll definitely go back. Clean, quaint rooms. So many places to chill outside on this property. Becky sets out lots of coffee, danishes, cookies, fruit, granola bars early mornings for breakfast. This property is more for adults than family in my opinion.

Capt’n Jacks is truly a special place. We were in the area for a very quick trip and I am so thankful we were able to stay here! The inn is full of charm, and the owners were so warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the lake was just spectacular. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay there longer! We’d go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for two nights in room 5 overlooking the lake. The bar and restaurant is no longer but they do killer pizza on Friday and Saturdays. The bed was very uncomfortable and the TV VERY small but the atmosphere made up for it. Across the street is Strand Brewery and down the street is another brewery with live bands, cold beer, and amazing food. Dockside Dan's is a short distance too!! The owners Jack and Becky were absolutely amazing in every way!!! This place would be perfect if fixed up and modernized. 30 minutes from St. Joe, 20 minutes from Releaf dispensary, and 30 minutes from Notre Dame.

We had room #5 right off the deck. The room wasn't the best we've ever been to but the view was great. It's walking distance to two nice craft breweries. After going to breweries we were able to relax on the balcony and enjoy the weather. Jack and his wife were also very nice.

Horrible owner. Called to book a room for my husband, 10 yr old, 4 yr old and myself. Was told only 2 to a room yet website says kid friendly and double bed rooms. She rudely told me that the rooms are 10x12 so only 2 to a room and my kids would have to stay seperate. What a joke. No wonder they have no business!

Tried to book a room for my husband, 10 & 4 yr old and was told RUDLY by owner that they only allow 2 to a room even though website does not mention this. Website also says they have double bed rooms but yet my children would "have to have another room". No wonder this place is so dead & our of business.

The restaurant and bar portion are closed down. We stayed at the Inn. We have used the Inn previously as I have family in the area. The rooms are nice, we had a sliding glass door that opened to the lake. Unfortunately, I believe this entire outfit will be closed soon. Sad, it has been quite convenient.
