About Lyons Industries, Inc.
My name is Lance Lyons and I'm president of Lyons Industries, Inc. In 1968, my father and grandfather started our company in a small town in Southwestern Michigan. They developed a plumbing vent to replace the pipe that vented the plumbing system through the roofs of mobile homes. As the business grew, my father realized to sustain long-term growth he would have to develop more products. In the late 70's, he bought his first vacuum former and started producing glue-up bathtub surrounds. Today, developing new products is still the best way to grow our business. Along with vacuum forming, we robotically spray fiberglass for strength and still manufacture in that same small town, Dowagiac, producing over 1,000 bathtubs and showers a day.
