Wilderness Campground

Hours: Wilderness Campground is described as the best campground around and a perfect place for families. Many families have enjoyed summer vacations here, and guests feel comfortable letting kids free range a bit. The owners and staff are amazing, friendly, and more than accommodating, and the owners treat people like family. The grounds are lush and clean, with clean shower houses and bathrooms kept clean throughout the day. There is a convenient little store up front stocked with all the essentials, and awesome people in the convenience store. A beautiful clean lake and beach offer sandy, clean swimming with no muck or rocks, and the swimming lake and fishing lake are separate, with catch and release fishing. There are picnic tables and grills and a very nice park and pavillion area, and the pavilion and the island in the fishing pond were beautiful for a wedding. The campground offers activities and karaoke and bands on weekends for campers, with special activities nearly every week, including a foam party and Halloween weekend, plus a seasonal potluck. The dog park is nice and conveniently placed. Prices are fair and worth every penny, and the campground is a short drive away from downtown Dundee. The community is welcoming and friendly with great atmosphere and great community vibes, and service help is on site for RV owners. Guests plan to return and highly recommend it.
