My daughter and I have been going to Beautiful Nail's for YEARS and have always enjoyed our visit! We have told friends, family and anyone who makes comments on how Beautiful they are... What I have experienced in the salon with some of these 1 star forks, is they are expecting a $100 treatment for $38. The people at Beautiful Nail's are hard working (they are Always Busy), and try to accommodate everyone's wants! We will continue to go here.Services: Pedicure

New to the area and wanted to treat myself for my Babyshower. I called ahead to see if there was availability and was happy to learn there was. Wanted an almond ombré nail with extra bling on my natural nail since they are (were) long enough with a pedicure. I also wanted dipping powder since it’s healthier and doesn’t require much filing as an gel or acrylic. Anyways while the lady proceeded to do my nails, she ignored my request to keep my length and oval. My nails are circular and was filed on my cuticle leaving obvious gaps. The worst being my left thumb. She then proceeds to switch to another client (which is normal) and has a younger lady finish my nails with a top coast ignoring my other design request. When i objected and asked for the older lady to fix my nails she tells me “No, they are fine.” They we’re not fine and it’s not what i wanted. I was stuck in my feelings as I’m 8 months pregnant, close to 6ft tall and knew if I was to get “too emotional” could be seen as a “threat “. My voice and WANT as a customer was literally ignored to the point I begged for them to fix the worst nail which was my thumb on the left hand. Reluctantly they did but this was by far my worst experience. If what i was asking was too much, that could have been complicated. Didn’t even bother getting a pedicure or extras

I am posting this review based on my experience with customer service! I called and asked if they took walk ins, they said they'd fit me in if I came.. they were super busy but still fit me in. The man who did my pedicure had the best customer service. I asked to not have the hot towel and he asked me why and I explained my sensitivity in my feet. He said if I wanted to try he would cool off the towel for me... he brought then over and called them off and made sure they were a good temp for me. He was extremely nice and accommodating.Services: Gel manicures

I’ve been to Beautiful nails numerous times and they usually do alright. However, last time I went I got a full set of acrylics with shellac and they did not meet my expectations at all. The shellac did not even cover the acrylic nail, and the acrylic didn’t go down to the bottom of my nail beds either, so they looked far overgrown , even though I just had them done. When I asked to have them fixed, even if it was just the shellac covering the parts of my nails the acrylic didn’t to save time/not be too much of an inconvenience for them, they refused and told me I would have to entirely pay $35 for a fill. On top of that, they handled this situation in a very unprofessional manner by raising voices, talking amongst other workers about me, my nails, and made me feel uncomfortable since a scene was caused over something I felt was an easy fix. I left, and had to go to another salon to get them fixed 4-5 days later because they looked 2 weeks old. I will not be returning.Service: Acrylic nails

I will never use this business again. Very rude and unprofessional . The lady was either talking or texting on her phone the whole time she was doing my pedicure. Did a lousy job as well. I thought it was interesting that my grand daughter and I were the only customers there through our whole appointment.Service: Pedicures

Not as excellent service as it used to have!! Now the service is more like anywhere else...they put you on an assembly line so by the time you are finished...all your fingernails are different shapes and sizes! So disappointed in service because they were so worth the drive to East Lansing, but in the last few years the service has become just like their competition!

I took my fiancé here to get her nails done looks like a five year old did every place she went she got nothing but horrible comments on her nails so we called them I paid 55 bucks they had us come in on a day they were closed saying they would redue them which they refused to redue them and they ended up charging me an additional 30 dollars to fix them this is the worst place to go they are very unprofessional, rude, and greedy mind you we called them the day after they were done she’s never had her nails done before they completely took advantage off us and her and our money they need to be shut downServices: Manicures

Color wheels are faded so the color you pick is nothing like the actual paint color. They left big chunks of acrylic under my nail, cut my nails too short and all different lengths. Also nothing like the shape I asked for. They are very thick and the ends are oddly all curved instead of straight across. Very unhappy with my experience.Services: Acrylic nails

Made an appointment for 6pm. Then showed up at 6 only for them to not get to me until 7. The lady who did my nails was on her phone the whole time and ended up cutting my nails too short and not giving me the shape I asked for. Overall, very unprofessional and poor quality. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! THEY WILL DISRESPECT BLACK PEOPLE!!! I live right behind this place so it is the most convenient place for me to get to with no car and without having to bus anywhere. I NEVER get consistent results but it was all I could do at the moment when I am always crunched for time and lacking convenient transportation. On a Thursday one week, I went to get a fill in and a fix because my nail had cracked after having been done for a week from this place. Nancy did my nails, and I asked her to fix them since I'd already had a bad experience with 2 of the other nail techs. She was already doing another customer and there was another Black Woman waiting that was there for the same reason as I was. She got the first girl in the chair, stripped her nails down, filled them and cut them for shaping then hopped over and started fully doing another YT woman's nails. Me and the other Black woman were sitting there baffled looking at each other in disbelief. Did she really just stop my set for someone else's?!? We were stunned. After waiting for her to completely finish the woman's nails, as she was setting them, a guy came over to the woman waiting. She took her nails down to say that Nancy was doing her nails and she asked for something specific so she didn't want him to interfere. He said said, Oh, and they all simultaneously looked at me. I said that I requested Nancy when I got here because she did my set and she needs to do the repair, but you can prep the nail for her. Reason being because he had already messed up my nails twice (all my own nails) even though he does a good pedi. The man prepped my nail and then Nancy yelled at me that she didn't have time to do my nails and he was going to do it for me. I was LIVID!!! You don't tell me who is going to do my nails. This is absurd! I had been sitting now for over an hour's time since I first got there and she was skipping back and forth between people. You could have easily just asked me to come back if you mismanaged your time, but the fact that you decided to treat the only 2 black women in the store like they were second class to the other women there. I was upset and I told them all of that. I had ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION OF GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION!! Being that I have not had time to get to another place because I am between 2 jobs and school, I had to bite the bullet and try to give them another chance. I went in at 2:45PM yesterday to get the pedi and fill/fix that I needed for the next busy week. I got the deluxe pedi and it took an hour and 20 minutes to do that with regular polish. It was actually done well, so no complaints there, but it took MUCH LONGER than usual so I didn't have enough time to get my nails done. I had also informed him ahead of time that I was there for 2 services and that I had about and hour and a half time and he said that'd be more than enough. After getting my feet done and paying, I went back to work and told them I'd come back in an hour to get my nails done. On my way back, I called ahead of going to confirm because I was taking time off of work. Nancy answered the phone and I asked her if she had a line or people waiting, she said no. I asked if she was busy herself, she said no. I said, ok, I am heading back for you to do the fix from earlier. She said ok come by. IT TAKES ME ALL OF 4 MINUTES TO WALK FROM BEHIND THE BUILDING TO THE DOOR OF THE SALON!! I get there and there is someone in Nancy chair and someone in the guy chair. WHICH WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT I WAS JUST TOLD ON THE PHONE!!! I didn't say anything. She greeted me and confirmed my service then told me to sit at chair 3. I WAITED FOR 25 MINUTES BEFORE THEY GOT TO ME! The guy got done first and Nancy hopped over to another woman that was there. Then the guy asks if I know what I want. I tell him that I want them reshaped, filled, and a tip fix for my broken nail with designs. They start going back and forth with each other speaking in their native tongue. After a few m
