Horribly managed and administered. Do NOT take your animal here if you can help it.

10? The primary care for MSU Veterinary is absolutely amazing! I have one dog who must wear a muzzle and is very nervous around new people. The staff was so patient with her, and took her feelings into account. Dr. Emery and their nurses were so amazing! I have another dog who is a hound who is very noisy and sniffs a lot, and she did perfect with the staff. She was licking them while they gave her a vaccine and everything. They are truly the best who looks out for their patients and clients. I had to put a dog down last year there during Covid and they were so compassionate, even the vet who put her down was crying. I will always take my dogs there as they give the best care.

Dr. Jackie was amazing. You could tell she really cared and did everything she could for a positive outcome, but still kept the reality of what to expect. The assistant that called to discuss the out come of Honey's kid was amazing and you could hear the amount she cared in her voice. I was really touched by the amount of love they have for my babies. ❤️

I received excellent care at 0200 on a Friday (April 15, 2022) for my 7 year old Yorkiepoo. I appreciated the phone call updates and the compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I was told who would be taking over Raven’s case as the morning shift would be taking over during shift change. I liked knowing what Raven’s procedures and tests would include and the support that would be needed afterwards. I had a positive experience and I am glad for the love and snuggles Raven received during her unexpected emergency visit.

Where to begin? We cannot thank Dr. Magestro and her team enough. My dog Ella and I traveled from Traverse City to MSU for radiation. It's always a scary thing when your pet has cancer but the team here put us at ease. They were extremely thorough and they are on the cutting edge of technology. Our treatments were so easy I couldn't believe it! Everyone says they can never decide if they want to "put their dog through" cancer treatments, and I was concerned. However each day

Great, professional, kind staff. My Rigel develop a cancerous toe, everyone told me over a month to get her in. Lisa got her in a week later, and had it removed next day. Great service. Best people

The system in place during covid most importantly was organized well and leaving my dog with complete strangers was a very good feeling after the care that my pet and I both received . The communication skills of all were feelings of reassurance he was in good hands !! The cost was reasonable considering he was in the best hands !!

I can’t say enough good things about MSU’s clinic. We brought our pup in for a small toenail problem today and they were quick, efficient and had her all fixed up in no time. Thank you MSU for taking great care of our pup!! We appreciate you!

Very efficient and kind. Hard to leave your pet to a complete stranger but they were very patient with him. The system in place due to COVID is very organized. The vet called and explained findings and plan of care. How to get out of the parking lot would have been good info upon discharge in the dark. It was interesting. But I was very pleased over all!!

Staff is very pleasant and great with our dog. Building was easy to locate. Our dog had laser surgery for a bladder issue. Expected to to be expensive and cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Evie, my Rhodesian ridgeback, is an avid bee hunter and had some issues with suspected anaphylaxis. Dr Binagia and the techs took excellent care of her and did a great job trouble shooting her symptoms. Dr. Binagia was wonderful to work with. She kept me up to date on Evie’s recovery and was very responsive to my questions and concerns. I can’t thank everyone there at MSU enough for taking such good care of my girl. She means the world to me!!!

For a teaching hospital the prices are ridiculousl our Rottweiler had an incurable blood disorder that they die from. Instead of being upfront they kept us coming back until we were well into thousands of dollars and the poor guy suffered miserablely. Plus no money up front they refuse to see you. I will never take another animal there. He died within 4 months.
