Where do I begin?! I have two cats and one of them has quite a bit of medical management and a vet file a mile long. At every turn the staff here is caring, understanding, and above all, extremely knowledgeable.My cat has had some changes in medications and they have been there for us both in and out of the exam room. From the expert medical advice from the doctors, nurses, and assistants, to the wonderful reception staff that took our calls when we had a quick question about his ongoing condition, ELVC has improved both my cats' lives and our own.Thank you ELVC Staff!!

I recently acquired a tortoise and have zero knowledge of reptiles. I live an hour away but ELVC was the closest vet that accepts exotics. Dr. Howe was amazing to work with! He answered all of my questions, sent me links and information after the appointment about things we discussed, and I could tell he was not only knowledgeable but also cared deeply about the well being of my tort! Highly recommend as an exotic pet vet!!

Excellent vet. I’ve only had good experiences here. Every time I’ve visited it’s been clear that they care about my dog as much as I do. Every question I ask has a thoughtful answer. Highly recommend

Very friendly doctors and staff--even my pets can sense it and are noticeably less distressed here than at past vets. They are also thorough in both their testing/evaluations and in explaining results and next steps. Pricing is reasonable as well.

I’ve been taking my “kids” here since they were puppies! Each staff member is so kind and caring and I’ve never had a bad experience. They never make me feel like I’m asking too many questions and always do a great job making my girls feel as comfortable as possible. We moved to Dewitt last year but made the decision to stay at this vet because we love it so much! Thank you, ELVC! - Darienne, Indigo & Issa <3

I am so thankful I found this office. Dr. Howe and all of his staff are super nice. We recently moved up here from orlando, and I was worried that we would have a hard time finding a good vet. My worries have been put to rest. I highly recommend East Lansing Vet Clinic!

We just switched over to this clinic and have loved it so far! All of the vets and staff are so kind and thorough in their care. Our dog is typically skeptical of new people but she was even giving kisses to the staff and vet at her first visit! Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies!

We liked the veterinarian. However, we had a terrible experience with the office manager, Kristi Johnson, and administrative assistants.The front desk staff were repeatedly grouchy. We had an appointment that should have been cancelled but wasn’t, waste of a day off for me.Six months later we missed an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances and were charged $100 for that missed appointment. Reaching out to the office manager was a waste of time and it was an unpleasant experience emailing and talking with Kristi Johnson.Yes, management reached out to let me know that I can find a new vet if I disagree with the charge.

They are amazing. Finding a small animals and exotic pets vet can be hard but they are always so wonderful. Even when my hamster is being difficult, and tries to bite.
