Victoria, Kimmi and Ryssa were absolutely incredible to work with at my wedding this part weekend! Not only were they incredibly skilled, but extremely kind, easy to talk to and tolerated our “jam sessions” in the bridal suite. I felt so confident in my hair and makeup and all of my girls looked incredible! Thank you so much Fluid Salon!

I had Allie and she was great :)
I feel some reviews are a little overly critical, because imo she did a fantastic job! I was worried cause I have very fine hair that has been roughly dealt with wayy too many times, but Allie was very experienced with dealing with my hair type and handled it well. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted (shoulder length + layers) and she really brought it to life while also adding in her own expertise, such as going with longer layers due to having thinner hair. Turned out great! Vibes were great throughout the salon. Only took 20min, was reasonably priced at $40 for all that it contained (hair wash, cutting, drying). Will be coming back next time I need a fresh cut ❤️

I booked fluid salon for hair and makeup on site for my wedding. I knew their work since they did my sister-in-laws wedding 2 years ago and already knew me and my girls would be in good hands. From booking, to my hair and makeup trial, to my wedding day they were so easy to work with. My girl Victoria was so easy going and easy to work with and was able to create my vision for my hair and makeup for my lord of the rings themed wedding day. I had never tried air brush makeup before and Victoria talked me through the process and I’m happy with choosing airbrush makeup for my wedding day, felt so light, like I wasn’t wearing anything. They arrived on time to the venue. They were able to be ahead of schedule the day of my wedding even working on 10 bridesmaids, my mother in law, and myself! I couldn’t have been happier with how everyone’s hair and makeup turned out for my wedding day!

Had my daughters hair cut here. She's 11 yrs old and they did a great job! Prices were very reasonable, too. Highly recommend this salon.

It was very terrible, the staffs were really rude and disrespectful . They have burnt my hair and scalp. The picture that you are going to show them as sample or reference they can’t make your hair even close to that.

Hi Today I came to highlight my hair and showed the photo I posted And it made my hair strong. I said that I want highlights under my hair and brown on top, which is actually brown.
But I asked me that I do not want this color. Because it's my original hair. I want this color yellow and he was very irritable and did not apologize to me. She made no apology and came across very irritable. He said, "You will pay this money."If I wanted brown color, I would show him a brown model. I wasn't going to show this photo photo. When she found out we were foreigners, she became racist and it made me very sad
And please, the person in charge of this hair salon should follow up with everyone, because everywhere in the world, the customer has the first right. She treated the customer very badly.
And this injustice is ruining my hair, time is running out and I have to pay, this is injustice. I hope you will read it. You can judge the photo I showed and the thing that dyed my hair

My son was literally just there. He told the stylist how short he wanted his hair and she proceeds to cut it shorter than he wanted and then told him afterwards that she cut it shorter!!! Apparently this salon just does what they want and don't listen to clients!!

My appointment was with Allie Duprest. I had to hold back tears leaving the store. My goal was to bleach the upper half and color my hair. My bottom half was already bleached twice so I know I will probably end up with two different tone hair. I know that I have black hair, but ive gotten it bleached plenty of times and it ends up bleached enough to add color onto it. For my first bleach session at worst is yellow or even orange, but when Allie did it, it was a brown.After talking to another hair stylist, its confirmed that Allie did what was easiest and convenient for her and did not care for what i truly wanted.- When she was bleaching my hair, I was sus at the amount of bleached used. It felt like she didnt saturate it enough, but I figured she knew more than I did so I didnt want to step on any toes. However, she ended up having to come back and add more bleach during the waiting process which made my fear grow as adding bleach onto dry bleach is often a nono.- During the washing process, another stylist asked how it was looking and Allie legit let out a laugh. Like a huge “HAH”… She then goes on saying how shes going to try to fix it with toner.- At this point im just trying to see what it looks like dry. After she was done blowing it out she asked how I liked it. I go on saying how I don’t like it and am going on vacation and if theres any saving it. She asked the head stylist if anything could be done and let out another cackle as she was telling her that Im going on vacation. At this point Im just holding back tears and wanting to leave. (Their solution was to make my bottom half a brown tone so that it doesnt look weird, but that would go back on my progress as im trying to go lighter).- To top it all off, she said I can come back and that she will fix it for free. A week later I worked up the courage to asked to set this appointment up because I paid too much to not have it fixed. She ended up saying that she would be charging me at a discount!! LOL. I wouldve tipped well as I know it takes a persons time and effort, but..just..wow.I’m actually really happy to not come in again. ?

This was my first time at Fluid Salon since I'm new to the Lansing area. The quality of the salon is great. I was very pleased with Fluid Salon and I'll definitely go back there next time that I need to get a haircut. Allie was very attentive, listened to my requests and took some time to make sure she could style my hair the way I envisioned it. I appreciated her suggestions and expertise.

I used Fluid Salon for my wedding and bridesmaids hair and makeup and they were so wonderful. I am not from the area so finding a salon was important. Kim worked with me with all of the planning and made an awesome schedule. Ryssa did my hair and makeup trial and for the wedding. She was amazing. She listened to what i wanted and helped calm my anxiety. The rest of the staff that worked with my bridal party was great. Everyone here is so nice and warm and friendly. Thank you!

Always a bit nervous visiting a new salon for the first time but my hair stylist Gwen and the rest of the team were super welcoming and warm! Gwen took the time to listen to my hair needs & took into account my lifestyle and hair habits which resulted in a beautiful hair style.Ps: Tender scalp girlies go see Gwen- she’s soooo gentle.Thanks, Fluid Salon and big thanks to Gwen!

Victoria is excellent. She has been doing my hair now for 2 years and I would not trust anyone else with my hair. Their salon has also grown and know I also see Stephanie and she does my Botox and she is great. Kimmi the owner has a great group of people working for her.
