I had to make a return and it ended up taking almost an hour even though my wife and I were the only customers. We didn’t have a physical receipt since it was an online order, so I gave the account # and showed the email confirmation as well as my account details. The customer service representative (Robert, according to the return receipt), said that we must present a physical receipt with a scannable barcode. After about 30 minutes or so of Robert talking to the store manager over the phone and trying to solve this, we found that there was a packing slip behind the tracking number in the plastic pouch on the package. We tried giving it to him since it had all the order info and a scannable barcode, but he and the manager kept saying that they’re not legally allowed to scan the packing slip. The instructions on the slip stated that it’s to be used for either mailed or in-store returns. We ended up contacting chat support as well while we were there who also confirmed that Robert must scan the packing slip to initiate the return. Robert then said that both the packing slip and support were wrong. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but it was something to the effect of, “Yeah, but that’s probably just some random support girl that doesn’t actually know what she’s talking about”.I did get the refund in the end, but it had to be done manually and was slightly less than what we originally paid. It wasn’t much of a difference, but having to stand for about 50 minutes for what should have been a simple return adds insult to injury (We were given a cookie though to make up the difference). Still, we can’t exactly fault the customer service representative (except for the comment he made against GNC chat support) since he was talking to the store manager who was the one walking him through everything and told him that packing slips can’t be accepted. As a manager, they should know how store returns for online purchases are supposed to be handled.

really nice service! the gal at the front was super helpful. they had the energy drink and protein bars i was looking for. they were running a great discount deal too. however, the appearance and ambiance of the store leaves a bit to be desired.

This location seems to not open on time. Sunday hours are 11:00am. I’m here at 11:25 to find a locked door

ASK FOR JASON!Jason is a very knowledgeable staff member here that is only here to help. i came in today looking to find a new pre workout so i knew i would be in there for quite some time. he was absolutely there for any questions i had and was not pushy at all. i left very satisfied with my trip and excited to return!

Their last recommendation landed me in the hospital getting my stomach pumped. Do your own research and buy what’s best for you. They only want to push the highlighted expensive new products that’s meant for the naive college kids.

was charged $140 from the renewal subscription but never received any product nor did it show i even made any purchases in my history on my account. So i tried getting a refund but never received one because i don’t have the physical product to return and it never shows on my account that i even purchased anything. Talked to corporate HR about the situation and it was completely useless and i was told to just check my email within 3 business days i would receive information on what happened and potentially get my money back. NEVER GOT AN EMAIL. So essentially i got robbed 140$.

Every time I go into a GNC the people who are there to “help” seem to only want to sell me more than what I’m interested in buying I have made the choice to not go into a GNC store front for a few mounts and 11/24/20 I decided to give them another chance after entering the store I got the typical sale pitch to buy different pre-workout than what I wanted. After giving the salesman 1 word answers to make it apparent I was not interested in buying anything other than the product that I knew worked for me, he proceeded to try and sell me and subscription service that I did not want even after telling the salesman that I was only interested in buying one thing and leaving he proceeded to want to argue with me a PAYING CUSTMER about how if I sine up for a service I would “save money”, I then explained to him that being pushy and asking 20 questions is not a good sales move on his part and is the reason why I stopped coming into GNC in person and he had just solidified the reason why I will just be buying my products on amazon. I believe in supporting local businesses but when a 5 min in and out turns into me having to defend myself as to why I don’t want the 5 different products that there corporate is making them push and turns into a 20 mins ordeal. I will NOT be going back.

God this place sucks. Sold me preworkout that had expired 3 months prior. Went back the next day 5 minutes before close but the worker had already locked up and acted like he couldn't hear me. Went back the NEXT day and there was a note on the door that said "back in 5" even though I waited out in the cold for 10. Not to mention the awful prices, just buy your stuff online.

The staff is great, nice location. Onky complaint is I wish they had a better selection of lactose intolerant friendly protein powders with NO stevia/artificial sweeteners (I'm allergic to many things)

Named after kids today, which will forever be known as "Generation New Car." Located right next to one of my favorite Boba shops in the whole country let alone in Michigan - which doesn't have a lot of good Boba shops. I swung by here to see if they happen to have my protein powders (2 in particular) that I usually order online for a pretty expensive amount and they did have one of them but it was even more expensive here and by quite a chunk as well. About 25% more than my online seller. Definitely cheaper online but they were friendly so that was good. And I'm happy I checked because now I feel a little better about paying all that money online for it, direct from the manufacturer. They were pretty nice about it although trying to hook me up with some other stuff. Barbie has her view on these stores: Gonna Need Cardiac help if you take all these supplements! They have all the whey protein powder in the world. No whey am I taking that! They have lots of other supplements. I'm just not into that stuff. You can shop in here while I go for bubble tea next door at Momo!
