I've been going to Great Clips in Fort Wayne, IN for years but last year moved to the UP of Michigan. I had to go to Lansing to see a dentist and decided to get a hair cut while I was in town. I was very pleased with the entire experience at the East Oak Square location. I checked in online, it was easy to find, and the wait was short. My stylist was Ashley and she did a fantastic job! This was the best haircut I've had at a salon since moving north. I had actually grown a beard over the winter because I was having a hard time getting a haircut I liked so I let things go. I have to go back to the dentist in a month and since that's my usual time between haircuts I am definitely going to stop there again. I do hope Ashley is working because she was not only skilled, but very enjoyable to talk to while I was getting trimmed up. Thanks again!

I was dissatisfied with the service I received during my recent visit here. Unfortunately, my experience with one of your hairstylists was unpleasant.
I was shocked when the stylist cut a large section of my hair all at once, rather than trimming it gradually. In my country, hairstylists typically cut hair little by little, allowing clients to confirm the length at each step to ensure satisfaction. This abrupt method left me with a style much shorter than I had intended.
When I expressed my concern, the stylist responded with a tone that I found intimidating and unprofessional. Her reaction made me feel uncomfortable and hesitant to voice further concerns, which is not the kind of atmosphere I expected when visiting a professional salon. I wish she could be nicer especially to a foreigner like me who may not speak good English to explain.

Checking in online made things quick and easy. My stylist, Ashley, was welcoming and did a wonderful job and wasn't afraid when I told her to cut off 8+ inches! Very happy with the results and my time there.

Yup,You got your license and hired as a“hairstylist” but remember Everytime you ruin someone’s hair you emotionally effect their mood that last a quite while,because maybe they are already having a bad day but now you just make it even worse,10 times worse!Be guilty and ashamed for yourself for doing such a bad job and stop hurting people’s feeling!

I understand that the stylists are supposed to try to sell your product lines. But telling me I need to buy their shampoo because my hair is damaged and dry and thin and unattractive is not the way to do it. I was so upset at their insulting comments that I stopped them early and left without having them do the entire cut. I won't be back.

Horrible service, did not honor the check in when I was ahead of many others. Poor Mgmt the day of 4/16. I checked in 45 min before, showed up and then told me I would still have to wait over an hour for others.
