I never leave reviews for places but I have finally had one too many rude interactions at this location. The customer service they provide comes off nothing short of condescending and rude. I will not be returning to this hobby lobby. The woman I spoke with who transferred me to the fabric department was rude and so was the woman I spoke to in the fabric department. I have yet to have one experience here in which i did not feel that the staff was condescending and or unhappy to be doing their job. I’m disappointed I did not grab the names of these staff members.

I love Hobby Lobby and all the merchandise they sell! I won't go to Michael's or Joann's anymore. However, this store was older and lacked the sparkle and pizzazz of the newer stores.

Prices are high, but prices are high all over. At least the employees aren't. But for real I been to a whole bunch a hobby lobbies and this one in Lansing is slapping. The vast amount of over priced stuff is amazing. For real I know times are tough hobby lobby but quality is more important. You guys took all the good oil paints out and stocked it with your crap brand oil paint. That was not smart, don't get me wrong I did buy every on sale oil paint you offered but now what. Well I did give you 5 stars but I'm knocking off 2 because of the mistake with the oil paint. But Lansing has a great store.

I went 1st to their closed store in the Delta Center, not knowing it was closed. We then drove into E. Lansing to this Hobby Lobby.
I was looking for candle making supplies, and this store is very large. I asked a sales associate where I could find these items, and she told me the candle section. I then explained that this was my first time in their store. Would she elaborate more on where the candle section was? She stopped what she was doing and walked me to that area. I was grateful as I am disabled with leg and spine issues.
I didn't see much of any supplies, but there were lots of empty pegs and shelves where items hadn't been restocked. The only large package of wax was all ripped up, but I had no option, I took it anyways, and the cashier helped me tape it all up.
All in all, it is a large store. Somewhat clean, well organized, with sufficient staffing.
It's a thumbs up for my recommendation. Though the candle crafting section needed to be replenished, the other items in this section were stocked well, as were many other isles I went down, and their displays were clean and everything was clearly marked with prices and sales.

Sure wish I had lots of money!
I could spend it here & be very happy! Material supply has shrunk, but did find some pretty cotton material. Very friendly cashier!
