Nice museum of natural history with a regional Michigan flavor. Kids apparently love it, based on the reviews, but I haven't been a kid in quite a long time, haha, and really enjoy stopping by and strolling around. Would be nice to see a little more curation around evolutionary principles and mechanisms, with all of the pseudoscience peddled these days. Some visitors have commented on parking. Here's the key: grab a spot in one of the public garages across the street in town and walk over (maybe a block or two). This makes finding a spot easy, getting in and out easy, you get to walk a little bit on campus, which is pretty, and you can let yourself relax and enjoy it all!

Nice small museum. Parking can be challenging, but there is a parking garage that's about a 5-10 minute walk away. 3 levels. Wasn't too busy when we visited. My kids loved the dinosaurs.

I went with my 4 year old and 2 year old grandsons. We loved it. It’s not a children’s museum but there were so many ways for them to interact; touching elephant tusks, feeling moss, seeing how many beaver pelts would buy different items at the Trading Post, guessing who belongs to the footprints, puzzles, books and more. We loved the brown bear and the animal dioramas. Our favorite area was the NOAA Science on a Sphere; the globe was huge, the computer screen interactive and my 4 year old loved being in control! We spent an hour, took a break for snacks, and spent at least as much time again. We’ll be back!

I spent around three hours in here with a friend. There's a section for dinosaurs, an old colonial shop and hunting lodge, a planetary space, a section showcasing North American habitats and animals, and even a game room where you can play games made by MSU students, which we spent over an hour playing. The building is old but beautifully maintained. There's no admission fee if you're a student, which is very nice. If you're an MSU student, I highly recommend you stop in the museum sometime.

For its size the exhibits are really great and surpassed my expectations! I wish I had not put off for 20 years to stop in.

Climbed the fire escape since it was open and no sign said I couldn't. Nice views. Scary going down though.

Nice cute museum on the MSU campus. They have some cool fossils and taxidermies. Most of the museum is animal focused, and is pretty fun for small children. The museum is fairly small, and probably takes less than an hour to appreciate the whole thing. Nothing spectacular but a fun place to visit at least once.

Nice smaller museum with various exhibits. Museum has free admission but small fee for parking. Liked the animal exhibits but the interactive Sphere exhibit, showing planets, water, volcanos, ect. was the best and pretty interesting and we spent quite a bit of time at that. Would recommend the museum for families with older children as it may not be best for toddlers or young children.

We took our 8 and 10 year old grandkids today and I learned as much if not more than they did. It's a great series of displays and the section explaining how and why individual exhibits are created wadi vert informative. Highly reccomend.

This museum is located in an older building that looks like an academic hall, but has a whole musuem inside. It is free to visit and entertained my kids on a snowy day. Our favorite was the “sphere” exhibit where we could play around with different plants and weather patterns.
