I came in to purchase a return prepaid Priority Mail envelope and enclosed it within another Priority Mail envelope for mailing. Both envelopes had tracking numbers. However, I later discovered that I was only given the tracking number for the outgoing package — not the return prepaid envelope.
At the time of purchase, the clerk pointed to the receipt and said, “The tracking number is here,” which led me to believe it included both. Unfortunately, it did not. I called USPS customer service, and they advised me to return to the location, where they said staff would be able to look it up.
When I returned to the post office and explained the situation — that these were important documents being sent to the U.S. Department of State — I was told the clerk who originally helped me should have given me the tracking tab from the return label or at least advised me to take a photo, since it wouldn’t appear on the receipt.
One of the clerks I spoke with today was helpful and kind, but unfortunately, the manager was rude — not just today, but also during my first visit when I mailed the documents. It’s frustrating to be left without a way to track important mail due to a lack of communication and poor customer service. I hope the staff here can improve their clarity and professionalism, especially when handling time-sensitive and critical mail.

Literally deserves negative stars they’re so unhelpful. I’ve been here for 20 minutes, no one has shown up at the desk mind you it’s the middle of the day, no one has shown up to help me office completely empty. And I’ve tried calling them locally and no one answers literally never answers. They’ve held my package for days and won’t update the tracking or anything and won’t even ship it or send me an updates.

I’ve called them ALL day today and no one has answered the phone. My package has been sitting there since 3 nights even thought it’s 2 minutes from my original destination. No one answers and no one helps.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Numerous issues with this facility and I don't even live in Michigan. 1. I have a LIVE ANIMAL SHIPMENT (2 day shipping, mind you) that they did not send out even though their last collection states 4:30pm and they arrived at 2:35pm at their facility 2. They are now delaying my shipment for 6, yes, 6 days! 3. I tried to get ahold of them for a full hour and no one picked up the phone.

Solid Post office, folks here are well versed in their functions and efficient and helpful. Have been going here for 30 years, as i sell many books and other things. THey are very consistent and helpful. THe place is also very clean and orderly.

This place is the absolute worst.
Everyone who works here is absolutely incompetent.
I am editing my prior review because even though I did not think my experience could get worse, I get a letter in the mail informing me that it very much can.
I have attached a photo of the letter I received in the mail. Requesting that I provide proof of my name change since it does not match my birth certificate. Makes sense, right? Well I thought that did and at my appointment I was quite literally BEGGING the woman at the facility to take my name change paperwork along with my passport application and birth certificate. She kept telling me no, saying they didn’t need it, since she looked at my drivers license. I thought that this made absolutely zero sense and no matter what I said to this absolute brain dead creature she would not take the papers. Sure enough, letter comes, I need to mail them my papers, further delaying me getting my passport, which was already previously delayed multiple times because these employees (that I assume they found from some kind of science experiment on how stupid can we genetically modify humans to be) kept postponing my appointment. I had to make 6 appointments to get 1 appointment.

The folks who work at this branch of the post office are wonderful. They handle so many student requests and international requests, and I have only ever had them be welcoming, friendly, and take the time to explain complex USPS policies. I will drive out of my way to this location because it’s always a positive experience.

Made my appointment to take in my forms with picture(taken at FedX); though they do take your photo here, as well. People waiting in lounge since they were walk-ins.
I was able to go ahead of them, even though I was a half hour early & other appointments were a no show! So, I had Debbie who processed everything and I was done less than 15 minutes!
She's very efficient and friendly.
I took cash & total was 167.10.
She reminded me to watch for 2 envelopes. Passport & my original birth certificate!! Thank you

Known to violate headlee admendment by posting incorrect GIS and refusing to research their felony uttering and publishing to deprive over 980 residents their civil rights under Elliot Larsen. #chandlerscrossing kicks back 400k for the advertising via a bad actor pact behind closed doors rather than having east Lansing staff pay Clinton Co and file annexation paperwork.
Also refuses delivery of mail as contracted to retaliate against 1st amendment protected activities.
Known felons, who illegally withold mail services in retaliation since 7/31/23. Mailhändler is known felon on route 5051 beware if you have a 9 digit zip code on his route.

Lost important mail, including drivers license and credit cards multiple times. Alerted them and told me to wait up to a week for mail to come in for mail that has been lost for multiple months. Told me to just wait or to file a missing mail report. Did that and nothing happened. At least I get my daily Kroger and Meijer ads!!
