“Learned a lot about the different types of bikes they have. Then one of the workers ask if I wanted to take one of the electric bikes for a test ride that was pretty awesome. #one of the best experiences I had in a bike shop. So if you need a bike this is the spot to stop.”

“Love this place! Purchased hockey skates and some equipment here on a few occasions as an adult beginner towards the beginning of this year and every time the staff were incredibly helpful. Then, just this week I went back to get some spots bumped out on my skates, and again- service was EXCEPTIONAL! They didn’t even charge me for making the adjustments because I had purchased the skates there. Highly recommend purchasing new skates from here- they make sure the fit is just right and comfortable!!! I will definitely be shopping here when it’s time to upgrade :)”

“Hey guys if your from the Detroit area. Or ever in the downtown Detroit area. Wheelhouse Detroit. Is your place for bike purchases,rentals & repair. The employees there are really cool & very friendly👍. I took my bike in for a repair & got a really great deal. On the maintenance & parts. The repair guy is a rider himself. So, he knew alot about bikes. And knew exactly what I needed. And he fixed the problem. Making it possible for me to work. I'm in the delivery business. They had me up & running in no time guys. Great energy great environment. Right by the water. So I took in some views by the water. While my bike was being fixed. This location gets a 5 star rating in my book. “I love The Hub and Back Alley Bikes! Whether I need a piece of advice, a new tube, or a full tune up, The Hub is always my first stop. The staff is always super kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The shop always has quality bikes and if they don’t have the parts I’m looking for they are quick to offer placing an order. Back Alley is also an incredible asset to have around with the amount of apartment dwellers that lack ample space to wrench on bikes. I love The Hub and Back Alley and I will tell anybody that will listen!!”
