  Ok so I went to this location for a oil change it was pretty quick my vehicle ran great before I got my oil changed im driving home from work my car started acting weird and my check engine light came on I dont understand how my car went from running fine to having a check engine light on my car diagnostic test gave pcv code and on the receipt the service check list is BS they dont check shit but the oil and air filter and the only reason they check the air filter is to sell you a new one 🤦🏽‍♂️just a all around bad experience for me

  This is hands down the BEST place to get oil changes and other things that you need. Smart and great friendly workers. Rob specifically is awesome. I will be back just because of him as I trust him. Most car oil places want to scam you. I don't have to worry about that here. :)

  Let me start by saying the staff are very nice and friendly. I’ve been doing business here for years with multiple cars and now had my kids doing business here with their cars. If you’re looking for an oil change they’re great but I do not recommend anything beyond that, especially getting your AC fixed here. I went yesterday to get it fixed and was told it was $100 if it worked and $25 if it didn’t. The tech put the Freon in and it started blowing cold air. I paid the $100 and drove 3 blocks to my house and parked it. A couple hours later I left for work it started blowing warm air, had a funny smell, and started making a noise that it had never made before. I immediately called Bobby whose number is on the receipt. Bobby told me they had just closed but to bring it back in the next day. I brought it in and was told I could not get a refund since the air was cold when I left and to take it to their other shop to get fixed for apx. $300. I’m not sure why I was told to take it back I thought it would be looked at again or I would at least be refunded the $75 since it literally worked for 5 mins. I also thought the compressor would have been checked and the system would have been vacuum evacuated prior to the Freon being added. If that were the case I could have just bought a DIY can, done it myself and saved my $100. I’m still confused on why I was told to take it back today. The only logical explanation would be so they could refer me to their other shop to pay an additional apx. $300. So disappointing I really liked doing business here but going forward i don’t know if I can trust anything outside of an oil change and will be going elsewhere. So so disappointed.

  This was my first time getting my oil changed out of my state (NJ) and it’s usually a long wait and you do not stay in your car.
  
  Well I came here and was not disappointed! Gerald was extremely nice, honest and professional. The customer service was excellent and efficient. They even gave me a fantastic discount! The fastest oil change I’ve experienced. (Not sure if this speed is standard in MI) If I lived here, I would definitely be coming back and will come back anytime I return to visit. Thank you Express Quick Lube Eastpointe!

  I went here back in November drove my truck until the 3rd week of January parked it in the garage until yesterday and now the oil is super low and a stain in my driveway. The supervisor at the business wants to go back and forth like his people didn’t do the work. On top of me asking the last oil changed I had did they noticed anything leaking his tech told him no but I seen a little oil stain in my garage before I got the oil changed in November . Ain’t not way you should be able to spin a filter with you hand. Miles before oil change was 142k new oil change 147k regardless, if I did drive 5000 miles there’s no way I can see oil stains in my driveway leaking from the filter. I got 40$ out of 85$

  He literally is the best mechanic I have ever been to!!! The only place that I feel like I am not being talk to like I’m dumb woman and throwing everything I don’t need!!! Will not go anywhere else!!!!!!! Love this place!

  So let’s start with. I took my car to penzoil. They did not change my filter. So when I came in today. My oil filter was basically fused to the casing. Robert and Gerald were Allstars today and really helped me out. I am so happy I pulled in today because my engine could have blown and I wouldn’t have ever been able to afford the fix. I owe these guys lunch and more than a review. Thank you 🙏

  I've been coming to this place for 13 yrs. When I came today and I told them up front. I didn't realize till I got there that I only had $20. And the next time I come, I'll take care of it and give you guys the difference. They said. Well, we can't do it our boss wouldn't let us. I'm thinking to myself. I don't get that. I've known everybody in Or at least the guy Robert that I've known for years. But what kills me? Is they advertise $19.95 for an oil change and then every time I've gone in there, In the past two years, I've been being charged $25 it should be $21.19 that's what total tax included. So I've been getting taken for $3.81 for the past 2 years and this happens. I would never go back to this place. It is totally changed and robert you surprised me too I thought you were a little bit better than that. And the last time I left out of there. Shortly after I left on my last visit, I noticed my break line was leaking very slightly and there was a joke that was said to Robert with another employee and I laughed with it. Prior to me leaving And Robert went shortly afterwards was underneath to change my oil. I can't prove it in no way that anyone would mess with my line under there but I had no problem prior to going in there and I know that 'cause it was not leaking. I check my car on a regular basis. I'm not worried about that at this point. I'm more concerned about being overly charged and when I go there and say I was $5 shy and I've been a customer for over a 13 yrs they could have easily said. Don't worry we'll let you take care of it next time. That was the first time that ever happened. I realized that the last minute that I didn't bring my other money with me. Granted, that's on me. However, I thought I'd be treated a little bit better. Well, you've lost my business. So think about over the past 13 years that I've come there at about $200 a year. That's approximately $2900 i've given this company. Now you get nothing and you lost future business cause, I will definitely tell everybody else about what I experience today. This is totally ridiculous. Think twice before you come here. How do you advertise a certain amount on the main road? And then you charge a person $25.00 every time they finish out and that's for the basic oil change. It means somebody's racking in close $4.00 on every vehicle and that's just for the basic oil change and if that's true, think if you did a 100 cars a day. That's $400 a day. I never thought this would happen here of all places. Especially people you knew. The world definitely. It's changing and not for the better.

  They were really nice. I asked them to check my air filter to see if I needed a new one. They weren’t like those other shops that hVe like yeah you need it now and make me spend more money. They were honest

  Unfortunately, customer services has plummet. I remind loyal until now. Everytime I go, the last they do. No- to checking my lights, excuses- to checking tire pressures, and here - place your own sticker in the window. lol
