The staff are incredibly friendly, and offer suggestions if asked. Otherwise, you can shop without being bombarded with offers to assist. Every gift I have given from here has been a hit.”

“After being a customer for literally years of their online shop, its about damn time I write a review.These guys rock! And I’m not just talking about all the gems and minerals I’ve purchased from them over the years. Their creativity over the years have also inspired creativity in my own world. You’ve no doubt seen the disco mannequin? Well if you can disco ball one of those wonder what else is possible. So I’m working on my own waffle disco ball thingy.I’ve just had too many great interactions in addition to finding truly unique products. “Truly a hidden gem.Beautifully laid out store, but don't forget to open things and explore the drawers. Little goodies hiding EVERYWHERE.Everything is well priced and it is displayed in fairly organized sections, which makes browsing easy. An array of small items and larger ones. Some collections and some spare pieces. A little bit of everything, to be honest.The owner is very sweet and knowledgeable, and all in all its a great store to stop in and check out.”

“I have shopped at this store in the past and always found wonderful gifts for birthdays and the Christmas holidays. Last month I was searching for some special birthday gifts for my partner. Rachael and another employee took a lot of time guiding me through the store and answering my questions. I was especially looking for a shirt because a few years ago I had purchased a John Lennon shirt for myself and absolutely love it. Rachael showed me a beautiful Desigual shirt and I knew that my partner would truly like it. When I had finished paying for the three gifts, Rachael then offered to wrap them. She did a magnificent job and this past Saturday my partner opened his gifts. He was absolutely amazed by the Desigual shirt and insisted on wearing it to dinner that evening. It looked great on him! All evening, he received numerous compliments on the shirt from various folks at the restaurant. Rachael...THANK YOU! I (we) will definitely be back in the future.”

“Consistent and quality nautically themed gifts.The owner has been a staple of the Nautical Mile for decades. She’s had the shop, in another location before this one, for over 45 years. Fun fact, she helped coin the label Nautical Mile. She is quick to answer questions about the area, suggestions for meals and info about the Nautical Mile.The items for sale are of high quality and all Great Lakes themed. This is the spot for the annually release Know Your Ships reference book. They have quality apparel, silk ties, cuff links in addition to the many home gift options.The store is a must stop for the all your Great Lakes gifts, many locally made. A true gem in the area.”

“Super cute store with so many gift options from different vendors. My mother-in-law wanted a 4' tall welcome sign for her porch so I ordered one on Etsy. Well they never shipped it and I needed the sign fast. So I went to The Junk Drawer Mercantile and found three to choose from. All three were cuter than the one I was trying to buy on Etsy and the price was very reasonable. This is a great shop when you need something homemade with excellent quality.”

I also watched several other customers come in while I was in the store and they were not greeted either. I like the items in the store, and it's a cute spot, but they should work on their customer service skills.”

I have left two messages and I did not get a return call. This is a store with one of a kind gifts. I hope the family is healthy and the store will open with steady hours. “So appreciative of Judy at this location. I placed an order over the weekend for 11 Chocolate Apples for my special needs son teacher, para-pros, therapists, etc. as little Christmas gift. I requested the order to be ready Tuesday evening so my son could hand them out on Wednesday before Xmas break. Well this morning (Monday), the principal texted all the parents stating there was a typo on the calendar and that Xmas break actually started after school on Tuesday. I called this location right after and Judy answered. I asked Judy if by any chance the apples could be ready by close tonight. And she said she could make it happen and she did!! They look amazing too. Thank you Judy for saving the day, so grateful!”

One of the other employees was not friendly at all she locked the door on me at 4:50 p and they close at 5p she didn't have enough courtsey to say sorry ma'am were closed.”
“Amazing selection. There's such a variety of beautiful hand blown glass pieces that you can choose from and cannot find from anywhere else. The owner is extremely down to earth and kind and is even willing to order what you might be looking for. I definitely recommend shopping here if you want something eclectic, unique or vintage. This store constantly brings in new selections of punk clothes, vintage clothes, jewelry, incense and all of the above. This place is so much better than the road show, when I went there it was terrible customer service but at blacklist provisions, you're taken care of and that's so nice to have in the community.”
