If I could give this place Zero stars, I would. We have been dealing with this place for years. We have been trying to buy a house. They are slow with the process, which caused us to miss out on purchasing a few houses. They are not good at communicating. We had to call them multiple times and remind them to do their job. After we got approved for a loan, ironically days later our account was hacked and money was taken from our account. UpdateWe provided the credit union with a police report and proof that our account was hacked and they still refused to help us resolve the problem.

Had a great first experience as a new member of this credit Union! Sat down with Mrs. Funtella Coleman and was very thorough and knowledgeable with the options the credit union offers. Setting me up was easy, pleasant and customer service at its best! If you're looking for someone reliable to open a new account or to take care of you, ask for Mrs. Coleman and tell her David referred you!!!

Whoever took my phonecall should be fired. I did a mobile deposit and then received and email stating my check was successfully deposited. I then got the funds available in my account. Any normal person suspects nothing wrong. Days later, after I had spent said money, someone looks at the same check I deposit all the time and can't read one digit at the bottom and cancels the check forcing me to go negative. I get on the phone with an actual human being who tells I won't be charged anything and there's no rush to add funds to the account. The next morning as I'm redepositing the check, I notice a 31$ overdraft fee. Human garbage.

Went to close out my account and had the rudest teller named Ashley. She was so unprofessional and rude! She didn’t know what she was talking about and charged me fees that she couldn’t explain. I will NEVER bank with Michigan First again and wouldn’t recommend this credit union to my worse enemy!

My family member tried to get a loan through this location. Instead of being told, "I'm sorry you're not able to get a loan at this time. Here are some suggestions or resources for you so you can work on your credit.... etc." No, he's asked "what do you think?", several times and treated poorly. How about MI 1st Credit Union, you learn how to address those less fortunate than you? I have a few select words but will contain myself. Shame on you.

What I have experience at Michigan 1st credit Union I believe it's unfair ,my reason for saying this !! because I open an account with them I also open a secure bank card and receive a hard inquiry I'm scared to open up a business account for the reason is because of their hard inquiries on everything you open!what must I do ??should I go to another bank And open up a business account Or should I just close my account and transfer it all..
