“I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to the amazing team at Value World in Eastpointe!

I’ve been shopping there for years, and every visit reminds me that great customer service still exists. The store is always well organized, the selection is constantly changing, and there’s always the excitement of finding that hidden treasure.

What really keeps me coming back, though, are the people. Donna and Jen are absolutely fantastic! They go out of their way to make customers feel welcome, are always friendly, and somehow manage to keep smiles on their faces no matter how busy the store gets. They truly set the tone for the entire team.

A big thank you as well to all of the hardworking employees behind the scenes who sort, stock, clean, and keep everything running smoothly. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s obvious you all take pride in what you do.

In a world where it’s easy to complain, I think it’s just as important to recognize people who consistently do a great job. Thank you all for making every trip to Value World a positive experience. Keep up the amazing work—you’ve earned a loyal customer!”

“Honestly? This one of the most awesome mom and pop Christian thrift stores I have ever been to. There are items that you didn't know that you need and they are there. They have awesome vinyl for a good and reasonable price. If you are a thrifting enthusiast and need to look for something different. Look no more! :)”

“This shop is a gem! The owner is superb. Nikki has a great selection. There is something for everyone. If there is something that you want and you don’t find it in store Nikki will do her absolute best to find it for you. Hiptique is where I go to find the finds, and for the personal shopping experience that is bar none!”

“We found this adorable, little high end thrift shop with amazing prices and fantastic pieces! This store is super clean and the ladies and guy working behind the counter were polite, professional and informative. This is a donation based store that raises money for community outreach. I absolutely love this!”

“A wonderful store with such kind staff! I appreciate how well organized and categorized everything is and their sale days make already great prices even better. I lived close to this store for a few years before really realizing what it was and how great of a hidden gem it is!”

“I had a great time there they had a great variety of things and also the service was wonderful from the lady that helped me and they actually have a return policy unlike other other places which I love that also for just $50 they'll deliver a couch or anything that you want to your place which is great”

“The staff are really nice here. I’ve never had to wait very long in line. I often find fun games for my kid and interesting home decor here. I like the mission of the store and many of the customers I have overheard talking about how Grace centers of Hope saved their lives. It’s nice to find a smaller store, unlike Salvation Army and Value World. Thank you for giving back to the community Grace center of hope”

“Second Glance is an absolute gem for anyone looking to give pre-loved items a second life. The store is beautifully curated, making it a joy to browse through, and the selection is always fresh and high-quality. What truly sets Second Glance apart, though, is the people — the staff and owners are not only professional, but genuinely warm, helpful, and passionate about what they do. Whether you're buying or selling, they make the entire experience smooth, personal, and enjoyable. Highly recommend supporting this fantastic local business!”

“Employees are basically kids, but the nicest and most helpful kids. These aren't my favorite kind of places to go, but if you have to take someone there, it's as good an experience as you'll get. Recommend.”

“Five stars for the donation crew! My go-to donation center was in St Clair Shores but after being continually met with rudeness when donating, I decided to try the Clinton Twp location. Always gracious and friendly!”

“This is my favorite thrift store. There are tons of household, shoes, books and clothing. I love the 4 colored tag sale which change every few days. I can buy a ton of clothes for $30. It is cash only!”

“Don’t get me wrong, I love this store, it’s a hidden gem, people are always friendly, and you can find real antiques here…but the last few weeks prices are getting crazy— $339.99 for a cow skin foot stool????? I have one from Homegoods for a 3rd of that price brand new. Watch it Centerline!!! There are seniors and just regular people shopping here not Millionaires.”

“It's my understanding this is a new location. The store was clean and nicely organized. I thought the prices were fair. My only problem was there wasno one at checkout. When I first came in, I noticed another customer waiting at the front, then afee minutes later when I had something I wanted to buy, again no one was there. My husband had to go find someone because we stood there several minutes without anyone noticing. Maybe a bell, or a clear line of sight from the backroom to the front of the store is needed....just suggestions.”

“First, I have never been inside! But, as far as donating things, it’s very convenient and easy! I have taken a lot of my kids toys that they don’t play with anymore and a lot of clothes! You just pull up in the back of the store and some employees will come right out and empty your car!”
