We have had our mail held several times in the past year. The 1st of them in the summer for 2 weeks and the mail was continually delivered while we were away. I gave the hold post card to the mail person. Ok bad but still unexceptable sooo the next time I personally brought hold card into post office and deposited into local mail slot as no one was around...once again mail continued to be delivered...the next time I personally brought hold mail card into and hand delivered hold card to mail personal at the office ...once again no mail was held ..to top off no mail in the box at our home...so where is our mail ? ...we get at least junk mail daily and 7 days of nothing ? Hmmm ?

Eaton rapids post office is horrible. Never deliver packages always have to go pick stuff up from them. Sometimes they don’t even deliver the mail. You will get mail that was supposed to come the day before. UPS, Amazon and FedEx continuously make you look bad and you are government funded.

Once couldn't return the incorrect book I ordered because damaged in mail. Per postmaster- "well my mailman didn't make a note it was damaged."Had a package requiring signature for delivery and they kept leaving a note and saying I wasn't home. No one even knocked!!

Uncooperative and unreliableI'm convinced whoever has my route doesn't even attempt to deliver my packages. We had to complain to the manager that our mail isn't being delivered and we were told our dogs were too "vicious". Our dogs are not outside during the day and they certainly aren't vicious. It is my assumption that whoever has my route is extremely lazy. The Eaton Rapids post office will find any excuse to avoid fulfilling their job duties. When we have to go in to pick up packages the workers are the most unpleasant. If you don't want to service the people of the community then deliver their packages to their home.

Very disappointed! I have an over-sized mailbox and usual receive normal mail and small boxes. I went out to get my mail and a large box was stuffed in my mailbox so tight I had to dig my fingernails into it to get it out. Mind you I live on a very busy rural road where cars go 70-80 miles an hour and to stand at my mailbox stuggling to get a large box out of it for several minutes was not acceptable! The box should have been brought to my door!

Regularly misses pickups, or comes on the wrong day for a pickup which took place a day before. Don’t offer the service if you can’t do it. I’m guessing it’s because our regular postal worker is constantly put on other routes and our route is then staffed by some nobody from nowhere, who doesn’t do the pickup (if they are even notified that it’s there).Who knows.

I have very low expectations for governmental employee customer service skills. I rarely make a fuss over it.But now, I will make an exception, because my last two trips were very disappointing. Below are my specific behavioral complaints:Customer service skills by the Saturday employee, not just to myself, but everyone else in line were poor at best.Despite the mask, you can still tell if there is a smile, wasn't for anyone. No response to "hello" or "good morning" from any customers, just a blank stare. No response to, "have a good day" by any customer, simply ignored. When I didn't understand what I was doing, I was rudelt thrown what I needed and told I needed it.I know nothing will come of a complaint, USPS employers rarely if ever get fired or reprimanded for anything short of illegal. So I am honestly not sure why I am writing this. But for future reference, here it is.

The staff is helpful and friendly for a U.S. government facility. But the building is outdated and you can't get your mail from the p.o. boxes except during regular business hours, which, for some reason, are not until 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.(when most of us are at work) To add to this there is absolutely nowhere to park near the building except the two street spaces out front with no handicapped spots which I thought was illegal, maybe I'm wrong. Eaton Rapids is growing and we need a better Post Office location, that's just my humble opinion, God Bless!

Worst postal service ever, mail carriers toss packages carelessly, always late and just plain rude. This whole office needs a new post master and all new mail carriers. Disgraceful

Poor customer service both at the counter and from the drivers. Drivers regularly do not deliver packages(on time or at all if there is more than a dusting of snow stating “no access to delivery location” despite the fact a front wheel drive car can access the mailbox and driveway). Drivers will regularly not pick up outgoing mail even when they stop to put incoming mail in the box. Employees in store are snarky or downright rude, and unhelpful. I am related to multiple Postal employees from other branch’s and I am informed this is not the way things are handled at other offices. I drive to Dimondale for my shipping needs! Not much I can do about delivery..
