Company also does dock work. Owner stole our deposit of $14,800 for dock repair work. NEVER DID THE WORK. Do your due diligence! Check the Better Business Bureau. Antrim County Courts. You will find numerous complaints and MANY lawsuits.

In April of 2021 TNT took a deposit of $23,000 to install aluminum floating steps and landings on the Lake Michigan bluff at my home. They promised a 5 week turn-around and plans on how the steps would look. I had repeated calls with Taylor Umstead, owner of TNT. He kept giving excuses of supply chain issues, then it was labor issues, then it was another delay after another. In October he finally showed up with some steps which were not what was agreed to and later stated he was putting them in as "temporary". I said I wanted what we contracted for and his guys left and never returned. I spoke to Taylor and told him it was ridiculous and that I wanted my money back so I could contract with someone who could actually do the work. He said he wouldn't give me back my money. I told him the contract was canceled and demanded a full refund and if he didn't refund the money, I would have my attorney contact him. He stated he would drag this out for a year or more and there wasn't anything I could do about it. He blocked my phone number and refused my calls at his office. I also sent him emails and gave him 90 days to provide the refund as per the written agreement. He did not respond. I had my attorney send him a letter demanding payment in 10 days. He did not respond. I am left with little choice but to pursue this in court. I will be notifying my attorney to move forward with a lawsuit. He also did other bluff work for me. He damaged the lower toe wall on the bluff and has refused to come back and fix it. He states his work has a 10 year guaranty but he doesn't seem to want to honor it. I will ask my attorney how to address his lack of breach of warranty.

We used TNT in 2018 for tree cutting and they did a good job and we used them in 2019 and 2020 for leaf cleanup in the spring BUT in 2021 they cut down a tree over our road which was a small tree and would probably have taken them 1/2 hour at the most and we asked for spring clean up. We got NO SPRING CLEAN UP AND WERE CHARGED $295 for something but don’t know what. They told us the tree would be $150. We have called and called and received no follow up. Poor service ..... will never use again!!!!Services: Yard work

My Parents hired this company to build a seawall and gave them a large down payment as requested . Long story short, its been over a year, they never did the work, never showed up to meet with the State of Michigan for required permit, never returned calls and lied about EVERYTHING. Never returned their down payment. Thieves, cheats and liars.Ripping of the elderly nice business model. I see now how you can afford all of your new trucks and equipment .Don't use this company. BEWARE!

In March 2021 we contacted TNT Outdoor Services to repair our permanent dock in Bellaire, MI. They were initially very nice and responsive and they gave us a quote to do the work. We signed a contract with them and gave them a deposit (60% down). The work was supposed to be completed by early June with hopes that it would actually be done by Memorial Day. After some communication with TNT employees and looking at the BBB website we decided we would cancel the work based on some very shocking and terrible reviews of their work. We informed them of this fact at the end of May. The contract stipulated that they had 90 days to return our deposit money. It is now early December 2021 and we have not heard a thing from them and have not received our deposit back. They have in effect stolen our money. We have retained an attorney who has filed a lawsuit on our behalf and TNT has failed to even respond to that. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. If you are considering using them do yourself a favor and check out the other reviews here and on The Better Business Bureau website. The reviews speak for themselves. I would give them zero stars, but this site doesn’t appear to allow that.

BELOW 1 Star- March 24, 2021 - Contracted to remove old dock and build a new dock in Bellaire. Immediate response was excellent until Taylor received 60% down for project (April 1). Took weeks to track anyone down. When I finally spoke to Trisha, I was informed the dock permit would be issued the next day. A few more weeks went by with no return calls/txts/emails. I called the DEQ. Turned out they had NEVER contacted the DEQ or applied for permit. We immediately cancelled the project. (May 5). They initially refused the full refund. I demanded in person meeting the next day with Taylor. He "no showed". Sent his employee (Spencer, a cousin). Demanded full refund. Spencer agreed and signed statement acknowledging full refund. Still waiting for the $15K. They have until July 7. Have a prominent Traverse City attorney ready to file on July 8 if we have not received the full refund. I would encourage anyone considering this company to research the claims filed at the Better Business Bureau. TNT Outdoor Services (same company) has a grade F. Many of the complaints were filed by senior citizens. How is it possible this company is still permitted to operate?

I sold rocks to this company in which I was told they would have a check to me the next day after the collected a 300k check. I contacted "Spencer " and he was now on vacation. Apparently with my money because they never paid and won't return a call. Learned from others they owe others the same and were cut off by suppliers in the area for non payment. I'm posting this so other suppliers hopefully see prior do not sell to this company.
