Staff saw us floating around for a bit overwhelmed with choices (we’re from Pennsylvania, so alcohol choices are new to us!) and approached me, gave me her honest opinion about my choices, and led me to a sale item (although it was an upsell from my original choice!)The wine was great and from a sales perspective she was honestly the perfect employee - upsold us to a better/tastier but pricier product, but still snagged us a deal by finding a wine that was on sale. She definitely knew her wines - I’ve worked in fine dining for many years and she gave me info about wines I was clueless about. I’d visit this place many times over! Thanks for giving us a warm welcome to the area!”
“I was out of my tobacco supplies and called everyone advertising tobacco sales, but no one delivers anymore, even my regular store that I've depended on for a long time. I called Riverside Mini Mart (for the first time) and not only did they have what I needed at a competitive price, but when the owner found out I cannot drive, he made the delivery himself. I can't imagine ANYone going out of their way for a stranger but this man did. I'll be forever grateful to him. I highly recommend this store. You can buy products anywhere, find competitive prices too, but to find a decent human being who actually cares about other people is quite rare and is priceless. Thank you Bruce! :)”

“Very good and honest owners. I was in a rush one morning and stopped by to pick up a few things. The card machine stopped working and it was one of the few times I wasn’t carrying cash on me.A couple weeks go by and I received a phone call from Villa’s credit card company. They said Isaac looked into this and it did in fact charge my card and they were refunding both charges that him and I thought were canceled.There’s not many people that go through this effort to make things right. Especially without me even knowing.Thanks!”
“I've been in here multiple times now, rating my current service. Not only do they have a wide selection but their staff was extremely helpful. They had fresh lemons and limes. Multiple foods like pizzas and chicken wings. If you're looking for a specific brand of IPA, wine or liquor, this place has you covered.”

“Store is well light. There is a big selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Behind the counter is easy to see what is on the shelves. I didn't see any have to have bourbon for me, but I did see some favorites, just nothing rare and hard to find. I liked the selection of Michigan bourbons, some I haven't seen before, and other Michigan spirts. I just could decide on one to try.Lots of snacks and drinks.I will come back when I need a sandwich, they have a deli case with read to take out sandwich, the meatball sub looked good.”

“It STILL has that weird carryout smell that it had when I was a kid. The owners have certainly changed, and it looks like a typical hood carryout lol BUT its STILL a great place to go and grab whatever yu forgot to get when yu were at the grocery store. Thier selection is great. Not to mention if yu are a frequent flyer and they get to know ya they will allow yu to grab whatever it is yu need(in moderation not cigs or booze) and allow yu to bring the $ back at a later date. That rarely happens now a days, because people take advantage. But like I said if yu have built a relationship with them, they are good people and an asset to the neighborhood.”

“Went with a friend to pick something up, they were not busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, by both the security officer and the young lady at the register. If my receipt is correct, her name is Sheena. She was very friendly, and helpful, very beautiful young lady. I was glad to see she had a security guard in the store with her. The parking lot was pretty big, it could definitely use some lighting out there.”

“Counterpersons are usually friendly and upbeat. an ok selection of the usual alcoholic basics and some canned and packaged food items but I wouldn’t call it a grocery store. Popular place. Continuous traffic but rarely jammed. Speedy service. Could be a bit cleaner and better lit inside. No trouble makers hanging around, people come in get their stuff and head out and leave.”
