I drove 2 years for pat baron... a 90 something freightliner that kept revving up when I was in the bunk .. Tony the mechanic found nothing wrong but it did it repeatedly ..... A M was a joke to most other companies....

Very poorly operated business operations manager is extremely rude and disrespectful worst three days of my life I no wonder they got 15 trucks sitting out in the yard that are empty for the management they got I wouldn't want to walk even near inside or inside the building

This is a very hard review for me to make. We used to call them family, we used to be “taken care of” in a sense. AM Express, needs to change or they are going to lose more people who care for them. My husband and I used to get great pay and miles, but that slowly dwindled down to barely surviving. From having to beg for a raise of only 1-2 cents, to being told our trucking business would fail and we would never succeed. As a leader, you never say that. My hopes are for someone to read this and actually care enough to make a change. My husband has done nothing but get loads delivered and picked up on-time. My heart aches, management and safety used to be so welcoming and caring and understanding. That slowly went out the window, of course, no calls answered and being told we weren’t important enough to get emailed a two second email, is now their new norm for people who have been there for multiple years. They pay way under market value for miles, paying 40-45cpm for 4 years of experience. In today’s society that is going to make people homeless. Miles taken out from pay, is causing an unnecessary need for leaving to find a better paying job. I hope Pat and Angela reads this, if this continues any further, you might end up like Yellow, which I don’t wish upon anyone. We love AM Express, but this is the end of the road. We have to go somewhere else.

I work there 2 years ago dispatchers were unprofessional and micromanaged you I had $700 stolen out of my truck while it was in the shop being worked on and then I gave them notice that I was quitting I had come back cleaned out my truck and was on my way down the road to Texas and they said oh your name got pulled for a drug test and I said I quit a week ago I'm not liable for a drug test I'm not even there and they turned me into clearing house and I had to get that taken care of horrible people stay away Angela is a drunk

This place is absolutely terrible to work for . I started there 6.5 years ago and it has gone downhill so badly that they aren’t worth working for anymore. We used to have great freight and you could pretty much run any lanes you wanted, but now they have lost so much of their good freight that all you do is sit in loading docks, have very poor miles, no longer guarantee hometime , and the management and dispatch are completely unconcerned about our needs as drivers!! Plus when I left they are saying that I didn’t clean out my truck when I absolutely did,the truck was in the shop and all the techs saw me there cleaning it out,floors scrubbed out dashes wiped down the works, now they have taken $500 dollars for cleaning it out and won’t return it and threw out an almost new memory foam mattress that I had purchased recently,Avoid this place at all costs, dishonesty is their way of running things!!

Horrible, promises to pay back even when you show receipts and then goes silent, pay is only 40cpm. Talked to a lot of drivers and they all say the same about Angela. Stay away.
