I took my car into the Suburban Collision of Farmington Hills thinking it would be a quick and smooth process. That was NOT the case. 2 weeks after my car was left there, they called me and said they're location is CLOSING, and I have to have my car towed to another Suburban shop (I went to Suburban Collision of Sterling Heights). Little to no work had been done by Farmington Hills since I had left it there and they didn't even order the parts needed. They also took a 500$ deposit from me and I have never been refunded 3 months later. I've called multiple locations and nobody can explain or tell me who to talk to about getting my refund back. They claimed "all refunds from Farmington Hills were already refunded and we can't access the accounts anymore, and to call my bank". I called the bank and confirmed they DID NOT ever send me a refund. This entire process took months when I was told weeks and has been extremely time consuming, stressful, and I endured many extra expenses.I'm thankful for Brian over at Suburban of Sterling Heights who actually took car of getting my car fixed and was kind and helpful.

The worse collision shop I have ever dealt with. Be sure to read the reviews before using them, don’t blindly judge them based on their 3.8 rating. They will keep your car for months and keep pushing the date back. They overlooked items that needed to be fixed, along with a mediocre repair job. I was dealing with Austin, who was friendly enough but incompetent. I would definitely recommend not using them.

I can only agree to what was said. I’m waiting now since month to get my car repaired. This has been absolutely the worst example of Customer Service I have ever experienced. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.Service: Body & Trim

To be honest I was planning to come to you guys but after reading all the reviews I have no hope. Start treating your customer right or else more people will start leaving 1 star review without even coming in!!

I recently had a terrible experience with a collision center that I feel compelled to share. After my car was involved in an accident, I took it to suburban collision center to have it repaired. Unfortunately, the damage was so severe that the car was deemed a total loss. While I was disappointed to lose my car, I understood that this was the best course of action. However, my experience with the collision center took a turn for the worse when I discovered that several items had been stolen from my car while it was in their possession. These were items that I had left in the car, assuming that they would be safe while it was being repaired. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I brought this to the attention of the collision center, they were dismissive. They seemed to have no interest in investigating the matter or helping me recover my stolen items. I was left feeling frustrated, and I would not recommend this collision center to anyone.Overall, my experience with this collision center was extremely disappointing.

Absolutely terrible service - No return phone calls. No follow through with ordering parts so long delays. Once I made the commitment to use them the effort seized. Terrible - Still waiting!!! Find someone else.Service: Body & Trim

I am overall very pleased with my experience with Suburban Collision of Farmington Hills. I picked this shop as it was the top ranked aluminum body repair shop in the area.Excluding the factors out of this shop's control like parts availability and supply chain delays, Jeff and the rest of the team went above and beyond to address everything I asked of them. The repair of my sedan was high-quality and my car looks great after having struck a deer.As long as you clearly communicate your expectations, I have full faith that this shop will conduct themselves professionally.Services: Painting

I wish google will let me put no stars. Terrible communication. They will keep promising for the next week and the the next week. I’ve been running the hamster wheel for 8 weeks. Every day I find out something new. They forgot to order the part. The insurance guy is new so he didn’t submit the bill. They ordered but its back ordered. The part showed up but it was broken. The truck didn’t show up with the part. They got the wrong part.I am tired of the lies and the empty promises. And certainly feel bad for some of the people who works there. Because if it’s truly parts then someone should do something otherwise I would never want to work for this company who pushes people for their limits and have them deal with unhappy customers every day. If it’s not parts I would love for someone to see this message to do something about this too.Terrible service.

Please don't trust Suburban Collision of Farmington Hills and take your car to this body shop.I have had a very bad experience dealing with them. My car is sitting in the shop for 2 months and seems I will have to wait for another 2 months before I get my vehicle back.I spoke to the body shop manager before I got my vehicle towed in. Initially they had told that they will open the car in 1 week and place the order for the parts, however they kept telling lie week on week and took 4 weeks just to open my car and place the orders.I did request for loaner but didn't get it as well. Don't go by name and brand of Suburban or Lithia Motors.... Pathetic service and they keep telling lie to customers and delay things.I hope someone at Lithia Motors will look into these reviews and take appropriate actions.

Very poor service and excel at Lying. They have had our car since May. The insurance company paid them in full and they are still not done with our vehicle. We were told over a month ago it was going to be done. We called then they moved it out two weeks. We called again and they moved it out an additional two weeks. We called and were told last week that we would be able to get the car on Friday 7/28. It is now 8/2 and still no car, six weeks later than what was promised. Todays excuse was they they could not do the alignment on the vehicle because the tech was on vacation. We told them unacceptable and asked them to take the car another shop to have it done so that we could pick up the car today. They took it to the other shop. We called to let them know we were coming to pick up the car and it is still going to not be done now until tomorrow. If it was for us calling them continuously we would never get any updates and when you do they are all lies. Two people in our family work for two different OEMS and we would never recommend this shop to anyone. Think twice before choosing them.

After my car accident on June 3, I took my 2019 Audi Q7 to Suburban Collision of Farmington because the Audi dealership referred me. I never received any update or a requested call back regarding the status of my repairs. On June 23, my insurance adjuster and I were told by Eric, "My guy broke down the truck, took a week's vacation and then quit right after and left them stuck with all the work he had." Eric originally took responsibility for the three week delay due to his guy quitting and agreed to pay my rental. When I went to pick up my vehicle, Eric informed my insurance adjuster and me in a very rude manner that he was not paying for my rental. The first call I ever received from Eric was that my vehicle had passed the final inspection and was ready for pick up. I get to the shop only to see obvious damage to my muffler. Eric tells me they didn’t see it, so of course it’s still there for who knows how long. I will definitely see Surban Collision in court soon. This is by far the worst experience with a collision shop.Service: Body & Trim

My experience was horrible, do not bring your car here. I was in an auto accident (which is an upsetting enough experience) and my car was towed to Suburban Collision on Friday, 7/15. I called to ask if they were open on weekends so I could clean it out if it was totaled after the insurance adjuster came on Tuesday, 7/19 and was told they were only open M-F. The insurance adjuster came out on Tuesday, 7/19 to assess the damage and determined it was totaled so I took Friday, 7/22 off of work to come clean out my car. When I arrived on Friday I was told it was gone and already taken to the salvage yard! In less than a week, 4 working days, my car was gone without me having a chance to clean out my personal items, including the license plate which I needed for my insurance claim. I was told that this was not how they normally do business and I would hope not! Immediately releasing a vehicle before the owner has had a chance to come collect their things? Ridiculous. Thankfully (I say "thankfully" with very little relief given the chaos this caused) my car was available for me to go to at the salvage yard, 1 hour away, and clean out there. As an apology for the inconvenience and my drive time to the salvage yard and back I was told I would be mailed a gas card, which I have not received. So, my car can be released to a salvage yard within 4 business days but they cannot mail me a (what I expect to be small) gas card within 1 week? After their colossal error that never should have happened in the first place? Again, ridiculous. I will also be contacting my insurance company to let them know of this experience in the hopes they remove Suburban Collision as a qualified shop they do business with. This experience was awful. Do not bring your car here!

The Absolute worse experience in trying to get my vehicle repaired. They lie, they lie, and they double down on their lies. The reps lie, and the supervisor of the reps all lied about even ordering the part for my vehicle. They named the ****** dealership they ordered my part from, I had the parts department from that dealership on a conference call w/ them and they continued to lie, more and more. ( and then the **************** try and get angry, because you inquire about the status of your car and part, after they give you a huge run a round game w/ consistent lies about they will call you back and they've ordered the part). A Huge investigation needs to take place about what is really going on over there. After the call, the ****** parts department calls me back, to say this Collision shop, just went online 3 minutes ago and ordered the part. ( I wonder, where they had actually intended on getting the part from, if they were not going to properly order it from the dealership). Please note, this work needed is being redone following their previous repair a couple of months ago and the bumper came apart again. To Be Continued, I still have to receive the part and get it installed.....

I went in to receive an estimate and schedule an appointment to get some body damage repaired on my car. The person who estimated my car was Erik and he overall didn’t seem very happy to be there and didn’t seem to have great people skills.I received the estimate for a front end damage and then sent over an estimate from insurance for the back of end. I never heard anything back, I called one week later to inquire about when I could schedule an appointment to bring my car in to get repaired and was told that they hadn’t even entered in my information or estimate to the system. Finally apparently they did and I called again and was informed they were going to order the parts and tell me when they were in. I asked for an estimate and was not given any answer. Heard nothing for another week and finally called wondering how long it would take for my parts to come in. It was then I was informed they needed money from the deductible before they could even ORDER the parts. I was never informed of this and was just sitting around thinking something was being done!Terrible service, lengthy and no communication, I am taking my business somewhere else and am n impressed with suburban collision.Service: Body & Trim
