“We had our wedding ceremony at the farm and it was truly the best day! It was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. Eric was an amazing host and was so responsive and accommodating. The Air Bnb on the property is very nice and it was perfect for being able to stay onsite over our wedding weekend. The farm is so well kept and is such a peaceful place. We will definitely be back for many more visits!”

“This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed at The Kirby. Like last time, we were beyond pleased with our stay! We made sure to stay in a room that has a connected bathroom inside this time, but even if you book the room with the bathroom outside of the room, it’s still private and just outside the door! The hotel itself has a very cool history and it’s beautiful on the inside and out. The service here is 10/10. The included breakfast is delicious and the restaurant that’s open in the evening has great options as well! We always make sure to eat at the restaurant at least once during our stay because it’s so yummy, but it’s close enough to downtown Saugatuck that there are plenty of options with just a short drive! Chris and Courtney are super friendly and hardworking, they really go out of their way to make this hotel exceptional.”

“I visited The Dunes for the first time in August 2025 and had an incredible weekend!

My room was simple but clean and had everything I needed for a quick gay weekend getaway. This isn’t a luxury resort — it’s a charming, retro-style Midwestern motel with a great pool and a lively bar. They even still have keys to get into the rooms. The grounds of the property are beautiful and well kept.

If you go in with the right expectations, you’re in for a fantastic time.
