“This is the best Antique Shop in this part of Michigan. The shop is laid out in a way that makes going through and looking for things fun and easy.

One thing that we particularly like is that there isn’t a ton of “junk” to sift through. This shop is an old building utilizing all of the rooms to display Vintage jewelry, China, glassware, clothing, furniture and many other wonderful things.

When you visit be prepared to spend some time looking to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Stacy the owner is as down to earth as a person can get. She is just wonderful to speak with whether it’s about antiques or anything else.

I read some reviews that complained about prices. They are not unreasonable, remember this isn’t a goodwill store, this is an Antique Shop with really wonderful treasures. Compared to other shops that aren’t as nice nor as full as this one prices are much better.

Yesterday’s Treasures is definitely worth visiting and is highly recommend.”

“The Barnhouse is worth the visit! If you are looking for something to add to a collection, vintage or new, you are sure to find it here! They have everything from the macabre (a porcelain doll arm in a glass casket) to the sweet (vintage lace and quilts). You can get your mudic vibe on with vintage records (when did the 80's become vintage). Have fun walking through the many rooms with your complementary coffee and candy!”

“Where to begin. I was out shopping for a birthday and Xmas. Stopped in Pigeon in the Parlour because I was not finding anything I was looking.

Upon entering I was greeted by three wonderful ladies. They made sure I knew about several things they had in the store and then let me start looking. They were so helpful, yet not pushy. I ended up finding several items and they wrapped and put everything in very nice gift bags, without me asking that it be done.

The prices were very reasonable to me after being in several other stores that day in a few other towns that were really expensive.

The layout of everything made it easy to shop and there are two floors to the business.

I know I would never have gotten this type of personal service at a mall.

There is clothing, purses, soaps, lotions, candles, home decor, jewelry and many more things.

I highly recommend going and taking a look, you will be glad you did. It’s especially nice for men looking for something special for any lady they need a gift for.”

“The store is unbelievable. The amount of vendors, the amount of space to explore, the decoration and design of each booth, the music and atmosphere, the selection and genre of products, the prices.

Some of the few items I’ve gotten here include brand new tobacco pipes, old-school cigar lighters, casserole dishes in very good shape, although there’s a lot more to pick from, I’ve only been here once to really explore.

There’s all sorts of mid-century modern, silverware, china, vintage kitchen items which last longer than modern cheap equipment, everything is clean and restored to some extent. It’s not flea market quality, these pieces are clearly curated and of very high quality.”
