Genisys Credit Union provides good customer service and has been a great help to members, with knowledgeable and prompt employees. They offer good rates for car loans and the high yield checking account, among other products. However, some customers report feeling very frustrated with certain branches, citing that they rarely answer calls and nobody will answer the phone, leading to a lack of follow-up on matters like loans. This has left some customers feeling on the hook. Positive experiences highlight employees who are an absolute joy to work with, showing kindness, understanding, patience, and constant communication. While some service issues exist, the credit union has shown a willingness to listen to feedback, which some members appreciate. Many have been with them for years and continue to be customers.
I've been a member through all the name changes since 1976. I couldn't be happier with them. My dad was a member, as are my son and grandson. I highly recommend them. Whether you prefer to bank online, or in person, they've got it all.
