My wife recently ordered cabinet paint and other items via online ordering. The order was supposed to be ready at 11:07am and was not ready until 5:30pm due to supposed issues with their online ordering system. Once the order was picked up, the cabinet paint was not tinted per the order. My wife called and she was assured that the paint would be tinted and waiting at the customer service desk. Upon our arrival and much to the surprise of no one, the associate said that there was no paint up at the customer service desk and sent us back to the paint desk. Paint desk didn't have it and we were then sent back up front. The manager had to get involved to locate the paint and the refund was made. 10 hours from the start and 8 hours from the posted pickup time. Not expedient at all...

Don't order online from the Fenton, MI store though. THREE TIMES now, they've delivered opened, obviously used & returned items when I've ordered online! STORE MANAGER IS TRAINING HIS PEOPLE TO RIP OFF ONLINE ORDERS. Make sure you shop somewhere else.

This store isn't arranged like it should be.
Fence pickets, cedar landscaping lumber are outside, you have to go out and get the items you need, bring them back in the store to purchase them. Put them in the garden center like the other stores do.

So, like I've done many times in the past, I went to buy 10 large, heavy bags of garden soil. I asked at the register for someone to pull and load them for me. Then I waited and waited was told thar they don't have anyone to do this. I finally got someone from inside the store to do it this time but he said they don't have a loader.
There is no way I would shop here for this type if thing if there's no one to help. Maybe on the weekend it would be different.

Honestly cannot even explain how horrible this company has been to deal with. Not just one issue with a delivery but we are at 4 now. Cant get a call back from the manager, nothing. I will not be back.

If they offered tap to pay or Apple Pay, I’d shop here more often. Instead I go to Walmart or Target for my hardware needs. Many people under 35 don’t carry physical cards or cash any longer so it is a major inconvenience that they don’t offer digital payments when every other retail store does.

Hi. Just a note to express some displeasure. I returned a sod cutter that I had rented. The associate that checked it in charged me $75 for a cleaning fee. The only part that was "dirty" was some compacted dirt between the nubs on the drive wheel. The compacted dirt occupied less than 20% of the drive wheel. No dust,mud or anything else. $75? I could see a charge maybe if there was some mistreatment/abuse. Total usage time was probably about 1 1/2 hours. Besides the hefty fee for cleaning, there is the "disconnect " of good business practice and corporate policy(ies). I've been a long time customer of The Home Depot and spend tens of thousands of dollars there as I am an electrical contractor and a serious DIYer at the farm. I called the local store from whom I rented to speak to the store manager(in case they cared about any of this) but to no avail. After going through the recorded prompts and transfer from an actual person that was not the manager, just a lot of phone ringing and no one answering. Furthermore, unable to find a corporate email to contact them. Disappointing.

Purchased a bath fan for a bathroom remodel after electrician installed it, the fan would not turn on. Went to return item with original reciept, and packaging. It was a few days past 90 days service desk said no issue and took a copy of my ID. Had to call the manager who rudely told me nothing we can do for you. When I said it was broken and was only looking for store credit she again rudely told me “I said there is nothing I can do”. Way to stand behind your products and customers.
