A very fun place to go hang out. They don't have a pool table but they have 4 dart machines which is even better in my opinion. Drinks dirt cheap. Plenty of activities throughout the week. Love this place.

Always a seat & a smile waiting. The food is good. The beer mug is huge, so if you're thirsty & staying awhile, order it. If you're not, don't. When they are not as busy, they make you feel like part of their family. When they are busy, you just sort of blend in with everyone & not too many people approach and chat. I like to visit different lodges/clubs, so I like it when the locals are a little bit welcoming. 2/4 times in, I've had good conversations with the folks in there. I'm always prepared with other things to do if people are preoccupied, so no biggie. The bathroom is always clean & well stocked. The popcorn is typically ready. Only once they were out, but I arrived pretty late. I like that the crowd is a tad younger than most Elks around the area. It is great people watching at the Ferndale Elks, too. So many people with different lifestyles. Go on in for a lesson in American pop culture & trends. You will get a little taste of it all. It's like the lyrics of that song "I love this bar." Those of the type of places I like to go because everyone gets along & can be in harmony under 1 roof. I lived in FL for 5 years; wasn't a member down there but went to a place with all walks of life & the Ferndale Elks actually is about the only "bar" in the area that sends out that same happy harmony vibe. Thank you!! Keep it up. If I lived a smidgen closer I'd come more often & probably transfer my membership over there.
