Great service, had normal cleaning and two fillings. Staff makes you feel welcome and do a good job in x-rays, cleanings, etc. I’d recommend them if you’re in need of a new dentist. I was and I’m glad I made an appointment.

Going to the dentist can be a scary experience, but I appreciate the Great Expressions staff. They are friendly and professional. Hannah did a thorough job of cleaning and examining my teeth. I know they care about my dental health.

I had a great experience at Great Expressions in Ferndale. I was able to schedule a next day appointment, the cleaning was extremely thorough, and the staff was super friendly, quick, and cool. So glad it’s right in my neighborhood and I plan to keep coming here for my cleanings.

Ashley the office manager has horrible customer service. I spoke with her on the phone on Thursday about a credit to my account because the office had over billed me, she was very rude and the customer service I received was the worst I’ve ever experienced with any company in my life. I then went in today for my appointment thinking things would be different especially because they had just opened and still got the same attitude and disrespect from the previous day. She ask if my son was with me for his appointment, I explained to her that I don’t realize he had an appointment and that no one had let me know. She then decided to try and over talk me and yell saying she don’t control the text that get sent out to confirm the appointments and that I had confirmed both appointments for myself and my son. I showed her my phone so that she could see that no one gave me notice and said that she has no control over that and she also stated that she doesn’t do the calls to confirm appointments but it clear from the text messages and the voicemail below that she did indeed call my phone to confirm only my appointment and that I only confirmed one appointment which was for myself. I decided to just leave and get a refund for my credit on my account. The rest of the staff are pretty nice and go above and beyond for the customer but her attitude and mental state are both horrible. What a good office manager would have done was apologize that no one told me about the appointment and tried to reschedule my son appointment but Ashley clearly hates her job and takes it out on the customers.

This practice will lie to you, take your money and leave you with faulty work in your mouth. They will see how often they can get you in to do as much work as possible. Everything I had done with Dr. Taher has had to be replaced within 2 years. This office has caused more pain and caused me to need additional dental procedures to correct the problems created by them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Had no pain or problems with my teeth until visiting here. Did a bad fill-in and ruined my tooth then suggested that i pay out of pocket for a root canal.. very friendly assistants though but that doesn't help with the pain in my mouth now. GO ELSEWHERE.

Been going here for 4 years now and loved it up until now. The previous staff was very pleasant and professional. Unfortunately the new staff is completely rude and unprofessional on how they handle their customers.

The ladies here at this office are amazing! I scheduled and appointment and didn't have a babysitter for my son. I thought it would be a disaster since he is young and very busy. While I was getting my exams they did their best to keep him busy and happy. Not only were they friendly and great with my son, but they were fast, gentle, and put my anxiety at ease.

I will never go back to this dentist ever. You couldn't pay me to be treated by these people. As a child, I knocked out my front teeth and have had lots of dental work done since. My teeth became an insecurity to me, so I have made sure to take VERY good care of them in order to preserve the surrounding teeth. About a year ago, I went in for a routine cleaning. I had a hole in my tooth and because I have no dental knowledge I assumed it was a cavity. The dentist assured me that it was just chipped enamel and I did NOT need to take any further action. She said she could fill it if I wanted, but it was not necessary to do so. I trusted her medical opinion that it was unnecessary and did not fill it. She told me it was absolutely okay to leave it. I come in again for a routine cleaning a year later and the hole recently had gotten bigger. I had her look at it again and she told me I would now need a crown. Concerned, I asked her how this happened. She shrugged her shoulders and said "you probably had a hole that got bigger and now it needs a crown," and then she demonstrated how a crown worked and told me to go to front desk to get a treatment plan. The woman at the front desk could not give me a quote for procedure because they had it marked in the computer I did not have that tooth. How can your dentist falsely record which teeth are even in your mouth of being treated? Then she said she would call me with information. 1-2 weeks went by without being contacted. I called 3 times leaving a message explaining this entire situation. They call back saying they were calling back to "reschedule the appointment I was inquiring about" when I had NO appointment to be rescheduled and I was inquiring about a crown cost. I was finally called back with a $450 quote for a crown that I only need because the dentist FAILED to fill a hole in my tooth. I called and explained this and they basically told me too bad I am responsible even though the crown was caused by the dentist's negligence. The dentist is also saying this crown is not urgent to get and I can come back in 6 months to a year to get the crown. It has been 6 months to a year since my first inquiry about the tooth and it is continuing to get worse yet she wants me to wait an additional 6 months to a year to fix it. If you care about your teeth, DO NOT go to this dentist. Do NOT let them ruin your teeth. I have had problems with this dentist before. She prescribed me a medication that had a national shortage and would not work with me to find something else that would help an infection. The dental assistant laughed at my partial once during x-rays and asked me if I had candy stuck on my teeth. Do not go somewhere that takes your money and makes you feel uncomfortable!!!!
